The ship would pop out of Quantum Travel outside the asteroid field. James was just finishing up patching the ship while Leo and Marigold were sharing a drink . Anthony sat off to the side, flipping a coin as he waited for the next step in their mission. He'd look out and see them flying into an Asteroid field, knowing exactly where we were as Thatcher landed the Hercules in a hangar. Everyone started making their way to the ramp as it was opening Anthony following behind them, stopping Thatcher and handing him back his Cobra
"This is yours, so I'm giving it back" Anthony said. Thatcher looked at it and smiled
"She works like a beauty don't she? I've had this gun for a long time now.. my first gun I've ever owned. She has done me wonders"  Thatcher put the gun away and walked off the ship and loaded into the elevator with his crew. Once they hit the bottom, everyone filed out. Anthony got a nice view of what the inside of this asteroid truly looked like. It looked as if the place hadn't aged well over the years, walls that looked like they used to be perfect turned partially rusty and worn.  All the mercs inside were either at the bar drinking after a big victory, in the clinic dealing with their wounds, or getting prepared to go off on a mission. Anthony placed a hand on his hip and groaned
"I think I'm gonna stop by the clinic" Anthony said. Marigold looked over her shoulder at him
"No need for a flesh wound, I can handle it in the briefing room" she said as everyone walked. Anthony would nod and followed them into an apartment which was turned into a briefing room for their crew. A hologram table in the middle showing off a map of the Stanton System, and lockers which held all their armor and guns. Marigold led Anthony to a chair and sat him down, grabbing a med gun and running the laser over the wound. Surprisingly, there was no pain.
"Alright brothers and sisters, listen up! Time to fully debrief now that our distractions are cleared up." Thatcher would press a button and pull up the planet of Daymar, a moon of crusader covered in sand. It's main use throughout the years was to be a satellite. Thatcher would continue
"Time to discuss our next big bust.. some of you may have heard of it, some not so much, but it's what is smugglers like to call Jump Town" Anthony would look on in confusion as Marigold was just finishing up on patching up his wound
"Jump town? That place is a myth" Anthony said
"That is where you are wrong. A smuggler who had it all left behind a special resource he had cargo of. The myth states that the cargo was enough to give someone enough money to last them quite some time, if we split it might be not last awhile, but it is more money then you'll earn from one mission alone." Everyone in the room had their attention suddenly glued to the subject after having heard about it, Thatcher grinning at this sight.
"Only problem is we need a key held by a security officer that is currently stationed on Hurston. Now when I say we will have corporate fiends and tons of bounty hunters on our heads, I mean it. Only one in particular will be a major threat to us." The planet suddenly turned into multiple photos of a man with short blonde curly hair and a scar by his lip, in others he wore a black and white suit with red lining that almost looked like a roll cage in a car. A name suddenly appeared on the screen... The Jango Organization.
"This here, is Liam Porter. A bounty hunter who rose to the ranks of Jango Org and has been on the hunt for another hunter by the name of Calico." A picture of Calico would show on the screen, wearing his deaths head helmet.
"Anytime an officer is killed, he rushes to the scene to see if it's the Merc who disappeared ages ago." The hologram went down and Thatcher leaned in, looking around at the crew.
"You have full authority to kill any and all Jango Org whenever you lay eyes upon them do you understand?" Everyone nodded at him as the room was silent now. Thatcher seemed particular on Jango Org,  but no one wanted to pry him about it, until James would speak
"Is there a reason you see Jango Org in such a light Davis?" James asked. The captain would look down and sigh before looking back up at the crew.
"Let's just say Jango Org killed many of my family and friends back in the day.. One day I hope Calico returns and puts that damn group 6 feet under the ground!" He slams his fist on the table before taking a deep breath.
"Now.. first things first, we need to get our rookie all geared up. Leo I'll have you see to that. The rest of us will get our ship prepared and ready to head for Hurston" Thatcher clapped his hands and the crew all ran to the hangars while Leo walks over to Anthony and looks him over. He wasn't amused at the idea of watching over the rookie, let alone one who had beef with the people at Grim Hex.
"Alright rookie, follow me" Leo motioned and led Anthony through Grim Hex and to a store which sold many armors Anthony hadn't even seen before. Guns he had seen but never thought he would lay eyes on. Leo stood by a Dustup armor set, nodding to it
"This right here is our Org's official armor set. This is what you will wear at all times. Guns are your choice." Anthony ran his hand along the suit and used his MobiGlas to pay for the suit, the armor being placed on the counter by the store owner who seemingly didn't enjoy his job. It was then Anthony had to make some decisions on guns, looking over them all until he would grab the custodian.
"Hm, not a bad choice, but you'll need something as a secondary incase your gun jams or has no ammo." Leo would say, nodding in approval at his choice.
"Like a pistol?" Anthony would ask
"Pistols aren't gonna penetrate most armors, I'd say carry this on your hip holster." Leo said as he showed Anthony a Lumin V SMG. Anthony held it, seeing how much of a good fit it was. He would eventually pay for everything, ammo and all.
"Alright rookie, go ahead and get all prepared and meet us at the ship.." Leo said before seemingly let out some pent up rage, grabbing Anthony and pinning him to the wall.
"And don't think you and I are buddy buddy.. you've killed close friends of mine.. and I can never forgive you for that!" Leo said with anger, looking Anthony right in the eyes.
"Wasn't my fault, it was always in my own defense! You think I'm just gonna die to some pirate?"
"Better then losing my friends to you!" Leo exclaimed before letting go and storming out of the shop. Anthony sighing as the small bit of silence was broken by the store owner.
"Please get suited up and out of my store please" The owner said. Anthony scoffed and got suited up in the dressing room, putting on his undersuit and armor, loading magazines into their holding points and placing his Custodian on his backpack holster and Lumin V on his holster that was on his thigh. He made his way now to the hangars, walking out of the elevator to see a sight he never thought he would see. It was a hammerhead gunship that you would only see soldiers flying in. Thatcher would smile at Anthony.
"Bet you've never flown in one of these aye? Haha this thing is a beauty!" He would pat the ramp as Anthony made his way over.
"This is military stuff! No average person can get their hands on one of these!" Anthony exclaimed. James would chime from up the ramp.
"Well we aren't your average persons are we? Come on in and see our toys!" James would wave for him to come up, Anthony and Thatcher both walking up the ramp to a cargo bag with multiple vehicles. A ballista ground vehicle and two Dragonfly hover bikes beside it.
"Our usual formation follows with me and James in the Ballista while Leo and Marigold use the dragonfly's as our defense. Seems you'll be joining James and I in the Ballista today." Thatcher would pat Anthony's shoulder before making his way over to the ballista and climbing ontop.
"Alright boys! This is an in and out situation! We kill the security officer and get out before anyone catches sign of us ever being there! Take your time to prepare your souls for whatever is to come, cause once we do this there is no coming back from it! Understand!"
"Yes Captain!" The crew exclaimed. Thatcher looked over his crew, a look that screamed "I'm proud of all of you".
"Then let's get this show on the road shall we?"
