Chapter 14: The hunt

The next morning i woke with a intense pain in my arm.

I looked over at the time seeing it was only 6 am..

I knew i could not be able to sleep so i decided to shower and get ready.
After i showered the pain was getting more intense so i decided to go get some medication in town.
So i put on shoes and walked out.
"Where are you going?" i heard a voice call out from behind me.

I look over to see it is Ajax.
'Damn i was hoping for Wednesday tbh.'

"I'm going to grab some pain killers." i said

"Why, don't tell me you got addicted while locked up." he said.
I couldn't tell if he was serious or not.
"No i didn't the pain in my arm is just getting pretty intense." i said before turning around and walking away.
Before i left i heard him on the phone with someone..

I couldn't be bother to find out who and just kept walking.
And after 25 minutes of walking i finally made it.
I walk in and look around for some pain killers.
I found it and went over to the register to pay.
After i walk out i see Wednesday and Ajax standing there.

"Whare are you two doing here?" i ask confused.
"Y/n you got kidnapped a day ago.." Ajax said

"So?" i ask feeling offended he taught i couldn't handle myself.
After arguing for another minute i suddenly see a familiar figure walking closer.
"Y/n what's going on?" Ajax ask sounding worried.
"Ajax i'm gonna need you to grab Wednesday and run to the sheriff's office as fast as you can." i said looking over his shoulders.
"Why? What's going on?" he asks getting slightly scared.

"Don't ask questions." i said walking away towards the figure.
I heard Ajax argue before i heard two people running away.

I was relieved that they were gone.
"Missed me that much?" i ask now seeing Tyler standing there by the cemetary.

"Where's Wednesday?" he asks looking around.

"She had more inportant things to do." i say with a smirk.
"I was hoping she would get worried and come along with you." he said annoyed.
"She did you were just not very subtle and she is probably already far away now." i said.
"Guess i'll just kill you then." he said walking closer.
"You will try." i said smiling.
He tried to hit me but he missed.
"Wow i was hoping you would actually be able to fight and this would be an epic stand-off guess i was wrong." i said.

This made him angry and he charged me again.

"You are really predictable you know that?" i ask trying to just annoy him.

And it was working since he kept getting more and more angry.
But when i finally hit him back he transformed into the monster.

"Ah there's the Smeegle." i said getting ready for an actual fight.
He charged at me grabbing me with his claws and slamming me into a wall.
He then threw me over to the Crackstone statue.
I stood up quickly.

"You should do this more often, this way you can actually win fights." i said wiping some blood off my face.

He charged me again but this time i was able to dodge it.

I then pulled out a small dagger out of my boot and threw it at him.

He didn't like this and back-handed me into the bleachers.
"Why are these still here?" i groan out annoyed.
He was about to run at me again but noticed something and ran off.

I look over seeing the sheriff along with Wednesday and Ajax.
I get out from the bleacher and walk over to them.

"Are you ok?" The sheriff asks me.
