Chapter 17: New roommate

Y/n pov

After taking down Crackstone and Laurel me and Wednesday walked outside to where all the other students and teachers were gathered.

As soon as we walked in to view i could see a bunch of students run towards us.
Before i knew it Enid had captured both me and Wednesday in a hug.
"Are you two ok?" she asks worried.
"Never better." i say letting out a chuckle.
We waited outside for a while until the police and paramedics arrived.
Wednesday and i were taken to the hospital to check us out making sure we had no major injuries.

Once we arrived the doctors checked us out but we had no major injuries just a few cuts and bruises.

After an hour we were both allowed to leave.
"You ok?" i ask Wednesday who just came out of her room.
"Yes, you?" she asks.
"Never been better." i said giving her a small smile.
The moment was soon ruined though since Weems walked in and greeted us.
"Are you two doing alright?" she asks.
I just nodded and Wednesday did the same.
"Cmon let's get you back to Nevermore." she said with her signature smile.
As we walk outside we were met with Enid and Ajax.

"Don't you dare ask me if i'm ok." i said glaring at both of them.

They just looked confused.
"Are you ok?" Enid asks.

I just roll my eyes.
"Atleast you haven't changed." she says.
"Look i'm just tired." i said before getting in the van along with Wednesday.

After that we drive off.
Enid pov

After the incident yesterday me and Ajax decided to visit Y/n and Wednesday.
Weems had to go pick up Wednesday and Y/n and we convinced her to take us too.
After i quick drive we were dropped off outside the hospital.
"Wait here." Weems says walking inside.
We just decided to talk.

After 10 minutes Weems walks out with Y/n and Wednesday.

I was just about to ask them if they were ok but Y/n interupted me.
"Don't you dare ask me if i'm ok." he said glaring at both of us.

We just looked at eachother confused.
"Are you ok?" i ask worried.
He just rolled his eyes.

"Atleast you haven't changed." i said slightly annoyed.
"Look i'm just tired." he said before getting into the van along with Wednesday and they then drove off.

"Do they hate me?" i ask looking up at Ajax.

"What? Ofcourse not! Nobody could hate you." he said patting my back.
"Then why were they not happy to see us and wouldn't even let us talk?" i ask feeling tears build up in my eyes.
"You know how they are Enid.. Maybe he is just tired." he said letting out a sigh.
"I guess." i said.
"How about we go to the Weathervane to forget about this?" he asks with a slight smile.
I just smiled and nodded.

"Thank you Ajax." i said giving him a hug.

Y/n pov

We were driving back to Nevermore and Wednesday had fallen asleep on my shoulder.

"I'm glad to see that you two finally managed to find somebody who trully cares for them." Weems said looking in the mirror.
I just nod.

"I have an offer for the both of you." she suddenly says.
"Shouldn't you wait until Wednesday is awake then?" i ask confused.
"I can but, i can also tell you it now." she said.
"Make it quick." i said.
"Seeing how you two saved Nevermore and have become close i have spoken with Enid and my higher ups and we are willing to let you two share a dorm." she says with a smile.
I just looked up at her in shock.

"You don't need to feel rushed to give me an answer just think about it." she said.
"If you're asking it's an automatic yes, the more time i get to spend with Wednesday the better." i said with a smile making it's way onto my face.
"I just don't know if Wednesday is ready for that." i said.
"I'll ask her once we get back." Weems says with a smile.
