Chapter 11: Incognito mode?

You woke up with a very sweet feeling. Never have you ever thought things may go your way without exception. You remember the previous evening, when he confessed, and you did too, when he bought you flowers, when he showed you where he lives in your way to your home. You check the time and see it was around 6:30 am. Classes start at 8 am. You get up and go to the bathroom and do your morning routine. After that, you check your phone and see that Kat texted you that he wished that you two would walk together to the school. So you put on a hoodie and jeans, grab your headphones and school backpack and you get out of the house. You lock it first, then you turn back, looking at your phone trying to connect your headphones. But you bump in someone. You apologise very sweetly as you were a very polite person, but when you look up at the respective person you do a "-_-" face.

"How long have you been waiting here? " you asked.

"5 minutes for real. Let's go" Kat said taking your hand and started walking.

Oh my Lord I'm going to explode.

While you two were walking, he asked you something you didn't think about.

"Do you want us to be official? "

"Uhm... I have no clue, what do you think? " you answered.

"It's sorta complicated tho. I mean, if we don't make it official, they will think it's weird that we hang out, because we're opposites. Understand what I mean? " he spoke.

"Yeah, totally, you're right about this. But if we make it official, maybe they will just leave us alone.. " you said.

"They being who? "

"Come on, Tienna, her friends, whatever, there will be no rumors if we just confirm that we're together"

"Oh yeah, you're right. So we will make it official, right? "

"Sure, but let's not do it out of the blue. Let's wait for an opportunity. "

"Like? " he asked looking at you.

"Like the Winter Ball. If we are together, they're going to suspect something, and when we're going to be asked about it, we will confirm it"

"Seems fair and safe. That's a good plan. So if I got it well, for now we're going to be like before, right? "

"Exactly. But maybe we shouldn't keep bickering so much like before or else, when we will confirm that we're together, they will wonder how did we end up together so fast"

"Wow Kira. I know you're smart but sometimes you amaze me. "

"Haha, thanks."

With that, his hand made it's way around your shoulder and he held you tight.

Soon enough, you two arrived in front of the school gates, and from there you two decided to enter at different times. You first, then Kat.

Before you left, he placed a kiss on the top of your head. Love you, he said.
Love you too. And with that you entered the school's big gates.

After you enter the school building, you immediately spot Isa and Rei in front of the project chart. Usual spot of course. You run to them and greet them.

"Rei how are you feeling? " you asked.

"Better. Way better. "

"What about me?! " Isa asked.

"I'm feeling so much better especially after he got arrested. " Rei said looking at Isa while chuckling.

"Who got arrested?!! Isa asked with fear.

"That loser. " Rei answered.

"Who, the OG or the V2? " Isa asked.

"The V2 of course. OG ain't no loser anymore" you whispered to Isa and Rei.

"First of all. What? Second of all. WHAT? " Isa asked not believing her ears.

"I want you two to promise me you won't tell anyone. "

They looked at each other and nodded.

"Me and Kat are together"

Their eyes widen.

"Whoa congrats girl" Rei said.

"I knew you two would end up together and I'm happy you did" Isa spoke.

"Yeah we actually had our first date yesterday. 8th of January. Speaking of January, it's kinda warm and beautiful outside. Not as usual. Weird"

"Yeah, I noticed that too. By the way what do you mean Vern got arrested?" Isa asked confused.

You and Rei exchange glances and she begins to tell her the entire story. As she was talking with a very shocked Isa, you were looking around the hallway to spot Kat. You finally see him near his locker, taking his books and rearranging them. He looks back, spotting you.

How did he know I was staring?! 

You look away shyly and stare at a project from the chart. You had no chill so you looked back at Kat, who started smiling after he caught you looking. You smile back and look down. When you look back up, he gestures you a salute, informing you that he's heading to class. You wave back at him in a very subtle way.

"Kira? Are you alive? " Rei asked.

"Yeah? What happened? "

"Ohhhhh I see what's going on" she said smirking.

"Stopp!" you said annoyed.

"Haha you wish. From now on I'm soooo going to annoy you with your relationshi-"

"SHUT! " you say while putting your hand over her mouth as Rei already caught a couple of students' attention.

"Do you wanna die?! " you asked her.

"Pfft, as if you could kill me" she responded.

"What's the time? " Isa asked.

You check your phone and see there was 1 more minute left until class starts.

"Holy shit it's 10:59 see y'all later BYEE! " you said rushing to your class.
While you were running through the empty hallways you bump into someone.

Shit it's the second time I'm bumping in people today.

When you raise your gaze you see Tienna.

"Oh my gosh you blind creature don't you see where you're walking?! Also I heard you're in a relationship. Who is the unlucky bo-" she started with an annoying tone.

"Tienna I really don't have time for your daily gossip and bullshit I really want to get to my class because if I don't go now I'll be late. I'll deal with you later I guess" and with that you pushed her aside and started running again.

You make it to the classroom just in time because right after you sat in your usual seat, the teacher came in.

How does Tienna know already?
