Finding You // Cashton

Chapter 12

shitshitandshitagain. i'm literally so sorry for not updating... Alot's going on in my life right now and balancing out everything is quite hard. It's a horrible thing to process, but now, I present to you: Chapter 12.

I haven't been to my father's grave since his funeral... But I believe I can bare it. I can't let someone's grave hold me back from my "California dreams" as most would say. Honestly, it's worth it. Maybe my dad's grave will help me move on with my life so I can be happy with my friends.

"Alright, i'll do it. I guess it's finally time to go see him." I sighed.

"Okay baby, you and Ashton can go together, i'll send you the address. Make sure you tell him I said hi."

When Ashton & Calum arrive to the grave-yard

"I thought I could go through with this and be fine but now that it's happening i'm terrified." I admit to Ashton as a tear drops down my cheek.

Ashton wipes the tear away as he says "Calum trust me, you need to do this. It's been quite some time, and from what I heard you and your father must've been quite close. Don't you think someone that close to you hasn't been sitting on his tombstone waiting for you to speak to him?"

"I guess that's true, hold my hand through it all?"

"Of course."

As we walked up to his grave I felt a terrible pain in my heart.

"Hey Dad... It's been a while hasn't it? I hope the heavens are doing you well. I wish you were still here so mum won't have to move out of our house... Even if you aren't here it's still our house. Dammit... I wish you were here to give me some man to man advice, see me get my diploma, even walk down the aisle, even if it's to marry a man. You're the only person I had, and now I have someone else to look after me for you in California... He's also standing right next to me.."

"Hey papa Hood, how's it like up there? Cloudy right? Your son is an amazing young man, and when I take him to California with me, I assure you i'll turn him into a great man or husband. And don't worry, since you can't be here to straighten him out, i'll roughen him up for you! Oh crap.. By the way, i'm Ashton." Ashton said making him & I chuckle.

I feel so much better now, being able to move on from some things that have been holding me back, and start a new "life".

Ashton grabbed my face and brought it closer to his. He slowly went in for a kiss. I obviously kissed him back. I looked down to the floor, and Ashton joined his hand with mine, and as we were leaving, I felt warmth. Not temperature wise, but caring wise. It made me happy.

When we arrived back to my house we started packing the rest of my stuff. I need to really think about what I have in store for the future... I can see Ashton in my future, but i'm a bit scared. I'm very unsure as to why, but I don't really want to find out.

Guys words cannot explain how sorry I am... I completely forgot about wattpad and since I haven't posted I rushed this chapter. I feel like shit... Sorry guys.. :(
