Chapter 16

Its been six years, no communication with greggy. Raising my child alone.

I'm still an Architect here so i need to work to be able to buy me son's needs.

While i was sitting in my swivel chair my phone vibrated. It's Manang Betty, our babysitter but i treat her like my second mom.

"Hello Manang?" I said asked as i answered.

"Nako anak iyak nang iyak si Alfonso, hindi ka pa ba uuwi?"

"Pwede ko po bang makausap, marami pa po kase akong kailangang gawin, nagpapahinga lang po ako pero tatapusin ko rin naman po" i explained.

"Sige" Manang Betty said. " Alfy, your mommy will talk to you, come here" Narinig kong pagtawag ni Manang Betty sa phone.

"Mommy" nahikbi niyang pagtawag saakin.

"Yes baby?" I sweetly said.

"M-mommy, can you go home already?"

"Baby, mommy still has work. Why are you crying? I thought you're a big boy na? Don't cry i'll be home"

"Because i- i miss y-you mommy"

"Aww! I miss you too sweetheart, i'll be home at seven, don't wait for mommy hmm?? Sleep if you're sleepy, you have school tomorrow" i sofly said.

"Okay mommy, i'm not yet sleepy i will wait for you"

"What did i say?"

"If i am sleepy i will sleep and will not wait for you because i have school tomorrow but i'm not sleepy" He cutely said.

"Hay, may magagawa pa ba ako?" I whispered to myself.

"Hay, may magag-awa pa ba akow?" Conyo niya pang gaya saakin. I chuckled.

"Babye mommy, i'll wait for you mwa, i love you so much" He sweetly said.

"I love you too sweetheart, bye" i said and ended the call.

I quickly did my work and drove myself home.

I opened my condo's door and saw my son sitting at the sofa while watching tv.

"Mommy!" He said as he saw me. Ganito lagi ang pgsalubong niya saakin paguuwi ako galing trabaho.

"Hello" i said and smiled. I picked him up.

"Ohh wow, my baby is already heavy" i said and he chuckled.

"Mommy, are you tired?" He worriedly asked.

"No" i said while looking at him, i'm actually tired but i don't want my son to be worried. I can't help but see greggy in him, how i miss that guy!

"Oh anak, andyan ka na pala" Manang Betty said. "Aalis na ako ha? Iwan ko na kayo diyan may gagawin pa kase ako sa bahay" pagpapaalam niya saakin

She don't sleep at our condo because she has her own house and she has daugher that is working here in london too so if she didn't go home walang kasama yung anak niya.

"Sige po manang, Alfy say bye to your nana" i said and looked at alfy. He walked towards her nana and hugged her.

"Bye nana" he said. Pagkaalis ni manang ay pumasok ako sa kwarto, upang magbihis naiwan naman si alfonso sa sala nanonood ng tv.

I sat on the chair in front of the mirror. I stared myself in the morror and remembered something.

"Oh wow! Hey Gorgeous!" Greggy said as he saw me looking at myself in the morror.

"Nabola pa" i said and rolled my eyes. He goes at my back and stared at my face.

"Stop staring" i said.
