Louis's POV:

My date with Harry couldn't have gone better, he was engaged in what I was saying and just staring at me the whole time. We set up the next date right before his appointment in a couple of weeks. I really think that he's simply amazing, he's completely different now that he's out of the hospital. He has a bubbly personality, he's the kindest person that I've ever met, the only problem is he's a lot taller than me. But I suppose that's the way that it's going to be then.

My phone rang and I glanced at the number that flashed on the screen, I didn't recognize the number but I figured that I might as well answer it considering it might be someone new at the hospital.

"Hello, Doctor Tomlinson. How may I help you?" I answer.

"I don't know any doctor, I might have the wrong number." The voice said.

"Niall?"

"Yeah?"

"Where are you?"

"Don't be mad! I'm locked up for the night but they did post my bail. I didn't do anything wrong I just needed to get back into the coffee shop. I forgot my apartment keys inside and I needed them, so I may have picked the lock on the door." He explained very fast.

"You were breaking and entering at your own job?"

"Yes, and they also fired me."

"I'll be right there." I sighed and hung up the phone.

When I arrived at the jail that I had stayed in eight years ago, I knew exactly where to go. I made my way to the front of the jailhouse and to the clerk.

"Visiting hours are over." The lady said sternly.

"I'm not visiting, I'm here to bail out my friend." I said back unafraid of her since I had been here multiple times for him already.

It seems like every month it's something else that he is doing wrong but I always bail him out, even if it is an excessive amount and late at night like this one happened to be.

"Name?"

"Louis Tomlinson, I'm here for Niall Horan. How much is the bail?"

"£500." She said.

I handed her the money that I owed to bail Niall out for the night and waited for her to bring him out.

"Oh my God. Thank you Louis. I owe you for this one." He was saying very quickly and happily.

"No you don't. I'm your friend and I'm doing this because you mean a lot to me and if anything you owe me more than I could ever give you. Now let's get out of here." I said to him.

He follows me to my car and I drive us back to my house. When I pull up into the driveway I see Lottie's car and knew that she would want to hear about how my date went with Harry.

"Okay Niall, I'm almost 100% sure that Lottie is inside so you have to be quiet since she might be asleep." I instruct him.

He gives me a thumbs up and we get out of the car. I unlock the front door and go inside. Lottie's sitting at the kitchen table with a bottle of whiskey and a glass with ice.

"Seriously Lottie? That bad?" I ask considering it may have been the date that she went on with her boyfriend.

She looked up halfheartedly and I saw she was on the verge of tears.

"Niall, you know where the spare bedroom is. Make yourself at home. I have to deal with Lottie really quick and I'll be right up to help you."

He walked up the steps and to the right. He had been here many times before and knew exactly where to go.

---

Lottie looked like she had been through it with her boyfriend. She looked rough and I had only been gone for a short while between Harry and Niall. I knew that now was not the time for the tale of my amazing date that I had been on because of her.

"He never came to pick me up, you had the car for your mystery date that I sent you on, my friend called and said that she couldn't come get me because her mom was sick, so I called him to see what was going on and he claimed that he forgot it was our anniversary. I'm not upset about that, he has a lot going on so I don't blame him, but what does upset me is that I heard someone in the background rushing him back along to whatever they were doing. So I walked to the corner store and bought this." She said gesturing towards the bottle that was sitting on the table.

"Lottie, I really don't think that he would cheat on you. He's not that kind of guy and anyways if he is, it will be the last thing that he ever does." I said grabbing a glass from the cabinet.

I sit down and poured myself some of the whiskey.

"Don't drink that Louis." Lottie complains.

"If you're drinking it, I'm drinking it. Besides I'm not one for turning down a good time." I explain to her.

"Speaking of a good time, how was your mystery date?" She asks.

I look her in the eyes and start explaining what happened and that I think he might be the one.
