Chapter 12:

Louis's POV:

I was still at the hospital when Harry was getting ready to leave, I tried not to look at him since it would break my heart even more. He had to stop by the pharmacy before he left for his pain medicine.

"Alright, Mr. Styles, this is your pain medicine. You can take this every four hours but only one at a time. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact your local pharmacy or you can call here. The number to the pharmacy is in the bottle. Your appointment to remove your sutures is with Doctor Tomlinson on December 23rd, which is in two weeks. Until then no heavy lifting or engaging in sexual activities. Understood?" The pharmacist asked him.

I didn't have to look at him to be able to know that he was watching me do my charting instead of paying attention.

"Mr. Styles?"

I could sense that he had turned his attention from me back to his task at hand.

"Yes I do understand. Thank you."

Harry sounded upset that he had to go back and see Nick but his is what he wanted.

The rest of the day until lunch was just a blur of patients and orders coming in. So far I had at least five people tell me that I should probably go home since I didn't look too good. I knew that I wasn't sick just really upset that I had to see Harry walk out of the hospital and my life for good. I finally decided that I should probably go home for the day after I dealt with my current patient.

When I got home Lottie came skipping from the living room.

"I got you a date." She announced before I took off my jacket.

"Not again with the dating apps." I groaned.

Lottie had made me an account on every app imaginable almost two months after Aidan had passed away. She was constantly trying to get me to use them even though I've refused time and time again. I had reluctantly agreed to it at first but now they just sit on my phone and hers as well, so she can access them.

"Who's the person you picked out?"

"Here have a look."

Glancing back at the profile I thought to myself that this could be the one who is right for me.
