Today was the day i go to Akane's place for the first time in 3 years, i was so excited. we were going to go over wedding plans. we had a mission to go to first that is possibly a lower rank demon so it will be fast.
"CAW CAW LOWER RANK AT MT NAGASAKI CAW CAW"
"Alright alright we are going" I wined
"comon we get this mission done come back to fix our selfs up then go over to Miss,Konroji's, how dose that sound babe?" Tomioka ressured
"Alright sounds good"
we got ready for this mission then headed off to Mt. Nagasaki
today was a bit rainy, so it was muddy.
"ya we are going to have to clean up later" i wined again
"you are quit winy today y/n" tomioka remarked
"i slept crappy" i replied
when we arrived at the base of the mountain it was a similar situation to the spider family, slayers dead everywhere. it was another scary dark forest that a demon could kill 24/7
"great, we need to split" tomioka suggested
"alright go go go" i yelled
looking around the mountain there was no signs of demons anywhere but a lot of dead slayers.
"so sad"
till the demon started to show it-self, it was a really fast a little to fast for any new slayer to keep up with, but a hashira or higher ranked slayer it would be semi easy.
"Well well well another snack for me today"
"how cute of you to say that, but have you ever heard of a hashira?" i giggled.
i stared at the tall orange demon with blades for hands, no wonder the new demon slayers couldn't defeat him. but that is not all of what he was capable of.
the demon charged at me at a high rate that i barely got my sword out in time to defend.
"DIE DIE DIE DIEEEE" the demon yelled, it tried to stab me but couldn't
"Blood breathing 9th form Wine red river"
Flowing through the air so fast but graceful
slashing the demons head off with no effort.
"Dear, i told you should have been scared." i scoffed.
then there was a lot of bitching coming from that demon, i just rolled my eyes. so i went to find tomioka in this dark ass forest. i just want to get out of here to get back home then to Akane's
walked for a couple minutes to get lost and surrounded by dead bodies. i came across a 2 on 1 fight, tomioka and two other demons that looked liked the one i killed
"TOMIOKA!"
"Water breathing 2nd form water wheel" soft spoken tomioka attacked the demons all at one strike, you know what
"Blood breathing 12th form Blood shed" crashing into everything in my path including the demons, then an explosion of blood came out of the demons all gone. dead in a instant.
"how many demons did you find?" i asked
"i saw about 4, what about you?" tomioka returned the question.
"there was one a came across, and no i didn't get hurt" i replied
"alright we need to get back home"
We walked back down the mountain back to the house, we were on a dirt road till a kasugai crow dropped a letter in my hand.
"What is that?" tomioka asked
"im going to open it" i said
To The Daughter formal Blood Hashira, Akane Koroji. You are revising this letter because Akane Koroji has been pronounced dead from a demon attack, she was brutality killed in her home last night. the demon that killed her is unknown. Her body is held at the butterfly mansion.
We are very sorry for your loss.
i read that letter praying it was all a nightmare, im shaking paralyzed,
"no no no this cant be true" i was shaken laughing and crying.
"Y/n? Hun everything ok?" tomioka looked with concern
i bursted into tears falling to the floor crying into histarics. all of my family is gone. tomioka held me in his arms wrapped his haori around me. he picked me up to take me home. tomioka tried to comfort me the best he could
we got to the butterfly mansion to view Akanes body, when we walked in shinobu took tomioka and i to the morge,
"y/n im very sorry for your loss" shinobu said,
"How did she die?" i asked through tears
"she was poisoned and stabbed, she put up one fight but due to her age she couldn't attack long" Shinobu had a face of sorrow on her face.
i held akane's hand on the table
"im sorry i couldn't protect you sensei, but i know you did your best. im going to miss you a lot i cant express it" my tears were starting to get worse at that point Tomioka and shinobu gave me a hug to consol me. shinobu took me to her office because akane apparently left a few items for me.
It was her hair pin,kimono, her demon slayer uniform + Haori, her actual demon slayer sword (not the training one), a few of my favorite recipes, her kimono, and her home
to say the least it was hard to accept the reality of everything, she is gone she is not coming back
just taking her stuff hurt.
Tomioka got me home to let me take in everything, he made me some dinner while i was upstairs making a remembrance shrine of my Mom and Akane, it was a room that tomioka and i shared, it had all the items that our loved ones possessed, Like the other half of his sisters and sabito's kimono. His sister's bow, sabito's mask.
i had my moms Demon slayer uniform and Nichiren sword with her photo at the top along with her hair pin and haori. Now im going to have to set up another spot for akane.
i was soon called down by tomioka for dinner, he made a light dinner to not get me sick i had a lot of emotion.
tomioka and ate dinner in silence till he broke it
"what was Akane like when she was alive?" tomioka asked
"Well she was a very kind person who never liked violence but will absolutely will protect the people she loved, she was very accepting of you when she found out we were dating and then getting engaged, she never minded you at all or any of my friends." i replied with a forced smile.
TIME SKIP
there was a funeral held a few days later, closed casket. it was really hard to accept her passing but its life. we all die at some point even demons whether they are immortal or not they will be killed.
A/n: hey everyone, i started to loose ideas for this chapter but i guess it is what it is, there is going to be time skips.
but we are almost done with the story a few chapters left.
