"May your body rest with eywa." I kissed the animal on the forehead as I plunged my knife into its wound, confirming its death as it went limp.
"Well done." Jake spoke from opposite me, I looked at him, grinning, just as we heard the whirl of a helicopter set on the ground.
I pushed myself against the tree, Jake against the one in front of me.
"Jake." I whimpered and he put his index finger to his lips.
"It's okay." He mouthed and I closed my eyes, hearing him speak to me through the earpiece.
"Get Neytiri."
I started to run off in the direction of the mountains, hearing Lo'ak inform Jake that he, spider, Kiri and Tuk were down by the old battlefield. I changed course immediately and ran towards where I had heard they were.
They were all on the ground, accompanied and held down by what looked like Na'vi, but weren't. Avatars? Not ours.
I called for them behind a tree, watching them look at each other as they knew my calling.
I called again, drawing my arrow and hitting the avatar holding Lo'ak in the forehead, he dropped to the floor and Lo'ak ran towards Tuk, an arrow shot past my head and I turned around once it hit the avatar that was holding Kiri. It was Jake.
My ears pricked up at the sound of Neytiri's call, and I heard the yells of Spider still trapped in the grip of the avatar who paid the most attention to him, I let go of my arrow, hitting him in the shoulder, Spider ran.
"Got one." I hissed as I felt myself being hoisted into the air as Tuk, Lo'ak , Spider and Kiri took off in different directions.
"TERI!" I heard Lo'ak yell and the sound of Neytiri's call again, I called back as I was pushed further onto the floor.
"You shot me." It was Quaritch. I remember Jake telling me about him.
I hissed at him, making him laugh as he told his minion to put a gun to my head.
There was a loud groan and panting heard from the Colonel as he pulled the arrow from his shoulder.
"You're her's aren't you." He pulled a horrid smile and i snarled at him, baring my teeth in hope to scare him off. It didn't.
I wasn't Neytiri's child, but I was bought up by her for my entire life, so I had learnt more or less everything from what she and Jake had taught me.
"You're coming with us buttercup." He dragged me up by my queue and I heard a rustle in the bushes as he latched himself onto the rope, myself added.
"I'm not your buttercup, perv." I spat.
Just then, Netryi's arrow shot through the rope, we fell to the floor and i scrambled up, sprinting off into the forest after stamping on his hands.

It soon turned night and I was outside our tent in the mountains, listening in to Jake and Neytiri's conversation like Neteyam and Lo'ak.
"Can you hear anything?" Kiri asked and I put my finger to my lips.
"But this is our home!" Neytiri wailed.
"This family is our home." Jake corrected her.
"This isn't fair on the children. This is their home. It's all they've ever known!" I heard Neytiri sobbed and my heart ached for her.
"I cannot take Terina away from her mother and father. This is where they are." She added.
"We are doing this for them. For the children." Jake stated and I heard Neytiri sniffle.
"He had them under his knife, all of them. This is the safest option." Jake spoke softly.
"What's going on?" Tuk asked, she had been woken up by the looks of it. She rubbed her eyes and I pulled her close to me, cradling her in my arms as I looked at the other three, terrified for what's to come.
