"Terina?" I looked above me, opening my eyes to see Jake's locks hanging over my face.
"It's afternoon, are you sick?" He placed his hand on my forehead and I sat up with the support of my elbows.
"No." I mumbled.
He sighed and sat next to me, untangling my braids as he started to redo them.
"Is this about Neteyam?" He asked and I nodded.
"I've gave him a good knot of his tail. Don't worry, he won't say anything that out of line again." He gave my hair a tug playfully.
"And I know... he feels very bad about what he said." He continued.
"Jake, he already said it. I'm mad." I told him.
"And I'm not saying you shouldn't be mad, you should. I'm mad for you, but just don't let him ruin your mind. You're strong babygirl, keep it that way." He tied the end of my braid and got up.
"They're out in the water, you should go too." He pulled me up and I nodded, going separate ways with Jake as I saw them all splashing around in the water.
I hesitated before backing away, they were having fun, I wasn't feeling it right now so I would just ruin it.
I backed away more and felt a hand press against my lower back, stopping me.
"Come on." It was Anoung.
"Later." I told him and he frowned.
"TERINA!" Lo'ak ran towards me, laughing as Tsireya splashed him.
"Come." His hand reached out for mine and before I had a chance to object, Aonung and Lo'ak were forcing me into the water.
Neteyam and Tsireya both stood there with different expressions.
"Hi!" She waved and I waved back.
I took a glance at Neteyam's face to see anger. He pulled my hand roughly and I hissed, pulling back my wounded hand and looked at him in anger.
"We'll give you guys time." Aonung announced and I glared at him as a drop of blood hit the water from my hand.
"Why did you let him touch you like that?" Neteyam snapped and i rose my hand, slapping it across his face harshly.
His face turned but he didn't look back at me, he only let out a breath.
I clutched my hand and stormed out of the water.
"TERINA!" He yelled and I spun around, his locks swaying wildly as he stalked towards me.
I kept my hand over my wounded one and glared at him.
"Leave me alone." I turned to walk again when his hand placed itself on my shoulder. I flipped his body over me and stared down at him, hearing Neytiri's laugh from her pod as she and Jake watched us.
"I'm not going to fight you." He said through gritted teeth as he got up.
"You won't win if you do!" Lo'ak called, watching from the sidelines.
"Shut up!" Neteyam hissed and he looked at me again.
"I won't fight you."
"No?" I shoved him back, looking for a reaction.
His voice was strained and his body was tense as he looked at me with a warning look.
"No." He repeated, standing up.
I went to shove him again when his hand caught my wrist, pulling me down face first on the sand, I hissed and turned around, Neteyam was hovered above me, his index finger in my face.
"Enough. I won't to hurt you."
"NIHAWNG LEHAWNGKRR!" Too late.
I screamed at him, he grabbed my throat and pinned me further down.
"Mawey." Calm.
His other hand brushed over my face as the other one kept me pinned to the floor.
"I'm sorry. I will make it up to you. I'm sorry." He told me.
"GO AWAY!" I yelled at him, shoving him off of me with all my strength and calling for Sezila.
"TERINA!" He called as she dropped down, I jumped on her and refused to look at him as I patted her, signalling for her to move off.
