After taking a shower and doing her nightly skin care, Oh Myungsim changed to her sleepwear. She brought with her a pair of sweatshirt and yoga pants, and then also wore a pair of socks.
Kim Sabu informed her beforehand that the centralized heater in his house can no longer be adjusted, and he'd been meaning to have it checked but he was always busy at Doldam, he still hadn't done so. Myungsim was a little apprehensive hearing this information, knowing that she easily gets cold, but Kim Sabu reassured her that he checked the expected temperatures for the days when they'd have to do this shenanigan and his heater should be able to handle it.
Looking at herself in the mirror, she sighed at what she saw. She looked like a college dorm girl in her outfit. This wasn't her usual sleepwear. Having a trusted heater in her room in the staff house, she usually wore silk shorts and a top. Why she hated what she was wearing now because it didn't make her feel attractive had her shaking her head.
Why do I want to look attractive in front of Kim Sabu?! Ugh! Michyeosseo Oh Myungsim! Pull yourself together! She blew strands of hair out of her face and decided it was time to play the music and be the wife of Kim Sabu again.
Walking into the kitchen, she saw the siblings seated at the dining area, still having a quiet conversation.
Ye-rin and Yongju both noticed her walking in, and both smiled, but there was something about Yongju's smile that Myungsim couldn't quite put her finger on. It was almost as if he forgot she was there and was pleasantly surprised to see her. Myungsim wasn't sure what to make of it but Kim Sabu's smile made her heart skip a beat.
"Join us dear," Ye-rin beamed.
Myungsim nodded and smiled at the older woman and noticed Kim Sabu walking towards her.
"Chamomile?" the doctor asked gazing at her as he made his way to the cupboards.
The nurse was surprised, realizing Kim Sabu would be preparing her tea, and also surprised that he knew her preference. She smiled warmly at the man and responded, "Yes, please–gomawo."
She then sat beside Ye-rin and the two women had a quick chat–the older woman asking Myungsim about her skincare routine, being truly impressed with the nurse's youthful look. Myungsim laughed out loud, though a little embarrassed at the older woman's gushing.

The three continued their stories, switching from work to personal topics. It was a relief for both Kim Sabu and Myungsim that Ye-rin didn't pry much as to how their supposed love story started. The older woman's attention was completely diverted. She enjoyed poking so much fun at her brother, telling Myungsim stories about them growing up. The nurse was really delighted to learn a lot about the younger days of Kim Sabu. She had a feeling he was a pain in the butt at some point, and Ye-rin's stories proved her theory that Kim Sabu was once a troublesome teenager.
When their laughter finally died down after the last story Ye-rin shared about Kim Sabu's past, the doctor softly called out the lateness of the hour.
"Noona, I think we should call it a night–you've had a long day," Yongju reckoned.
His words prompted Ye-rin and Myungsim to check the wall clock in the dining area and the women noticed that it was already past midnight.
"Oh my–time passes by so fast when you're having fun," the older woman chuckled. Myungsim and Kim Sabu also chuckled in agreement.
When the three of them finally stood up, Myungsim asked, "Yeobo, did you finish setting up eonni's room?"
Kim Sabu felt his neck warm up, surprised at the term Myungsim used, "Ye–yeah, everything's set in your room, noona," he nodded, looking at Ye-rin.
