Several months after that fateful night.

"So your son is not having it–and we've tried every maneuver, but look here–" Dr. Cho Seo-yoon complained as she pointed towards the monitor of the ultrasound machine. "He has settled himself in–his butt in here and his head in there–he's completely breech," she shook her head smiling. "Stubborn little thing–so that means we'd have to induce caesarian section–"

Myungsim nodded, listening carefully, unconsciously squeezing tightly Yongju's hand in hers. Yongju was also listening intently, letting his fellow doctor explain everything before he say anything.

"--even when the mother's age isn't as advanced as yours, I always recommend a c-section when the baby's in this position just so we could avoid any other complications that might arise if we push for a normal birth."

The couple nodded in agreement, still listening. "So you're on your 38th week now and based on today's results, I'm so glad to say that your son is really healthy–so any day now, we could do the c-section to avoid you going into labor–I don't want you to suffer that pain anymore..."

Myungsim zoned out as she felt like her head was swimming with information. Any day now, they could have this baby, if they wanted to, when she wasn't even sure whether she's ready for this.

"--I'm going to give you my schedule this week and next week so you can choose–"

"Sorry–Dr. Cho, umm–where would my wife have the surgery?" Kim Sabu interrupted the kind doctor.

"Here in our lying-in, Master Kim–you don't have to worry–we've performed–"

Kim Sabu raised his hand to stop the doctor from explaining further. He smiled apologetically when he realized what he did, "I'm sorry, Dr. Cho, but I don't think–well, I think it would be best if Myungsim would have the surgery at Doldam. I'm 200% certain our ORs are better equipped than yours, no offense," he argued, rubbing his neck trying to calm himself.

Myungsim remained silent throughout the conversation of the doctors, her gaze shifting between her husband and her OB. She hated to admit it but her husband was right, and she'd feel more comfortable knowing they'd be fully prepared for whatever that might happen.

Dr. Cho smiled at Master Kim, thoughtful and understanding of the first-time father's worries about his wife and son. "I have no problem with it as long as you'd let me own the OR and have my NICU nurses on standby. Myungsim, what do you think?" the soft spoken doctor asked Myungsim as she removed her gloves.

"I'm good with it, Dr. Cho–if you didn't suggest it, I would actually request for your NICU nurses since we don't have fully trained NICU nurses at Doldam,"

"Okay then–that's settled. Let me know when you want the surgery and let's deliver this healthy baby boy of yours." Dr. Cho concluded, beaming at the couple.

The check-up was wrapped up and the couple decided on the date they wanted their son to be born. They'd have the surgery in the latter part of the following week, just in time for Myungsim's 39th week of pregnancy.

As they made their way towards their car, Myungsim couldn't help but snicker at the thought, remembering how Yongju practically told Dr. Cho that their OR at the lying-in sucked.

"What?" Yongju asked.

"You were so bossy in there, demanding my c-section should happen at Doldam,"

Yongju chuckled. "I couldn't help it–I hope I didn't offend Dr. Cho, but have you seen the state of this building?"
