24. El flashback

Flashbacks in Jeongguk's POV:

Jeongguk was making breakfast as Taehyung hasn't waken up with great morning spirit. He got up at night for something and Jeongguk is sure he has heard some retching sounds. But he couldn't pinpoint if it was in dream or not as he was sleepy, and Taehyung too came back to his chest soon enough. Jeongguk just mumbled about the kids, before again dozing off.

In the morning, Jeongguk woke up with a tangled up Taehyung. His sleepy cutie pie. Oh how he missed this kind of mornings! These business trips are strenuous and boring and makes Jeongguk go crazy without seeing his family. If they haven't have any kids yet, Jeongguk would bring Taehyung with him everywhere. Jeongguk's secretary Mr. Chow said that Jeongguk sleep talks and it's all about and with Taehyung. But Taehyung isn't there, only Jeongguk stuck in a different country with works that he hates most of the times. Tae-ri isn't there to peek through Jeongguk's home office, just to call papa 10 times and run away giggling. Nor Hyunie who tries to crawl through the closed door of his office, and Taehyung running after the little crawling supersonic human , then Taehyung too would enter the office and say a meek sorry with the sweetest smile. Jeongguk never forbids them to come in the office when he's working, it's just Taehyung being absolutely sincere and a supportive partner. One more reason added to the thousands for what Jeongguk loves Taehyung.

Jeongguk feels bad about this busy year. Some new government development plans have been published by government so the real estate business is really on gold rush, every company is trying to have chunks of lands in those districts. And Jeongguk's company is no different, their plan is to bring franchises of multinational companies and accommodate their offices in the area. These kinds of deals are for long run with promised higher - secured profit margin. So, He's always working, travelling.

And there's something morbius added with it, so he has to travel to the UK sometimes. Jeongguk is so guilty about it, he feels bad about not being able to give his family enough time nowadays and hiding the thing from Taehyung. But it isn't something Jeongguk can throw away or deny duty to. Not anything that he's proud of but he just can't refuse it out of humanity, responsibility. The thing is Taehyung can't know, it's more agonizing for Jeongguk. He could confess to Taehyung but there's many factors at risk. First and hazardous one being Taehyung's forgiveness, he may never forgive Jeongguk.

So Jeongguk will fill the pot with love. More love for Taehyung. Yesterday he had come back via UK actually, but Taehyung knows otherwise. They even had a heated conversation about Jeongguk being absent constantly and the kids being too naughty with one parent present. Anyway, Jeongguk could sense that Taehyung's mind is elsewhere in the morning. Jeongguk asked twice, but Taehyung said it's fine. Nothing out of ordinary, maybe a little moody ? Jeongguk thought of making it up to Taehyung by preparing breakfast and freshening up their babies.

Tae-ri was with her mother, while Jeongguk had Hyunie. His little baby boy, who's papa's apple of eyes. Jeongguk and Hyunie was having fun cooking, Jeongguk would sneak this and that to Hyunie in middle of cooking, and the boy would be giggling like crazy. That's when the princess came to papa hopping like a drunk grasshopper. Funny, Jeongguk smiled to himself.

Tae-ri: papa, mwe two. Mwe two brekie

Jeongguk: you too? Baby would love that?

Tae-ri: yeshhh

Jeongguk: but princess have to give kissie for every bite, you know?

Tae-ri: mwe lwikey. Mwe kissie mommy, shistel, papa two
