Orange shut the door and pressed her burning face into the wood.

That was definitely not what she meant, he'd been really nice, and she just wanted to spend more time with him, did her admitting that have to sound like she was asking him out?

"Are you alright?" a soft voice asked from behind her, a warm hand resting on her shoulder.

"Y-Yeah, just a misunderstanding..." she mumbled, turning to see a very pretty dark haired girl.

She had long black hair in a messy ponytail, and bright blue eyes that stared at her in concern. "Are you sure?"

Orange just nodded reassuringly. "Um, I'm Second Coming, but you can just call me Orange."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Blue." she smiled warmly. "By the way, was that my brother I heard?"

Orange glanced around her new home, shrugging. "He did mention having a sister."

"What's his name?" Blue asked as she went into a room Orange assumed to be the kitchen, due to the strong smell of cookies.

"Green," Orange answered, following Blue into the small kitchen; the sink was full of dishes, and Blue, who Orange just noticed was wearing an apron, was taking a tray of red cookies out of the oven.

"Yeah, that's him." Blue confirmed, putting the cookies on a cooling tray and taking her oven mitts off. "He can be pretty silly sometimes."

Orange couldn't help agreeing while she eyed the cookies. "What flavour are they?" she asked, not recognising the smell.

The only cookies Orange knew of that colour were red velvet, but even then something wasn't quite right.

"Netherwart." Orange cringed, which made Blue laugh.

"It's not that bad," Blue blew on one and offered it to her new friend. "Try it."

Orange took a bite, past the burn of just coming out of the oven, there was a light fruity taste, though she couldn't quite place it.

Blue just grinned. "Well?"

"It's an... interesting taste." Orange admitted, not really sure what to make of it. "What is netherwart?"

"My favourite food!" Blue answered proudly. "I think it's some kind of fruit, I've never seen it while shopping, but I found seeds on my brother Red's farm and grew some."

Orange nodded along, then realised she'd been nibbling on the rest of the cookie.

"They are addictive," Blue sighed. "Red and Green are always saving I've got a problem, but they're healthy, so..."

Orange couldn't deny that logic, and found herself reaching for another.

Green walked into the silent dorm, putting his bags down and looking around.

It's very quiet. he thought as he peeked into rooms, finding a small kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms; a couch and TV set up in the main area.

He went in the bedroom on the far right, and put his bags on the bed, claiming the room as his own.

"Kinda nice," he admitted.

He thought about Orange he parted with a few minutes ago, and wondered what his roommates would be like.

As if on cue, the door opened and an upbeat, familiar voice cheerfully called "Hello?"

"Red?" Green jumped up from the bed and ran to meet his little brother, hugging the red headed, animal lover.

"Green? We get to be roommates?" Red asked excitedly.

"Guess so." Green grinned, wondering what he did right to have Red as one of his roommates.

Red looked over Green's shoulder, despite being the youngest, he was almost an inch taller than Green, yet still managed to be just barely shorter than Blue.

"Are we living with someone else?" Red asked, noticing the three bedrooms; Green having left all the doors open earlier.

"Yeah, they're not here yet." Green explained, hoping whoever it was would be nice, he didn't want to live with someone grumpy, or rude, or--

The door, left partially open from Red's arrival, creaked open to reveal a blonde boy, carrying not as many bags as would be expected, who was staring at them oddly. "Uh, hello?"
