A/N :- Sorry for taking so long, next chapter should HOPEFULLY be done by the end of the week.
"Orange! You're gonna be late!" Blue called, knocking loudly on the artist's door.
Orange rolled over, staring at the door with bleary eyes, she scowled half heartedly. Late for what...?
"Orange!" Blue knocked loudly again, wondering idly if she should get some water, though she definitely would not be washing those sheets.
"Late for what...?" Orange wondered, out loud this time.
Blue blinked, then slapped her forehead, realising Orange was one of those people. "Class."
"Class..." Orange glanced around her room, a few of her bags scattered around as she slowly changed the room to her liking, seeing the dull wall clock she'd definitely be changing, and her eyes widened. "Class!"
Blue chuckled. "I made breakfast, if you want some."
Orange threw the door open, startling Blue. "Of course!" she cried, running past her to the bathroom.
The dark haired girl followed after, finding Orange furiously brushing her teeth. "Why didn't you wake me sooner?"
Blue raised an eyebrow. "Am I your alarm clock now?"
Orange spat the toothpaste out and turned around. "Yes."
Blue just sighed. "Alright; Purple's already left."
Orange blinked, wondering how anyone could wake up so early. "When?"
Blue checked the time. "Half an hour ago, and you have an impressive bed head."
"Half an hour?!" Orange cried, then realised what else Blue said and turned back to the mirror, her hair looked like a jungle!
"It's not usually this messy," she said, grabbing her hairbrush and trying to tame the ginger bush that was her hair.
Blue hummed, not believing her.
"It's not!" Orange cried, flinching when she caught a knot.
Blue sighed again and took the brush. "Sit down." she ordered, Orange rushing to do so, and Blue began brushing her hair.
"You're very..." Orange began, wondering whether she should say mature or motherly.
Blue raised an eyebrow curiously. "Very what?"
"...Motherly?" Orange decided on, remembering when she first met Green and he said that Blue hates doing nothing. "Are you like this with Red and Green too?"
Blue nodded. "I don't like not doing anything, I was forced to spend months doing that, and I hated it."
Orange tilted her head curiously.
"When I was in hospital, they didn't let me do anything fun," Blue complained, catching a knot and causing Orange to flinch again. "Sorry."
"You were in the hospital?" Orange asked worriedly.
Blue nodded. "Chronic pain, remember?"
"Ah," Orange sighed, ducking her head, she'd overheard some of what Blue said the other night, but didn't have to heart to admit it. "Sorry." she said anyway.
Blue waved her off before going back to brushing. "That was ages ago," Orange just shot her a worried look. "Let's talk about something else."
"Your cookies?" Orange suggested, she had an idea anyway.
Blue cringed. "Can we not?"
"No no! I've got an idea!" Orange jumped up, despite Blue not being finished. "What if we make other flavours?"
"'We'?" Blue repeated, could Orange even cook? After seeing Purple in the kitchen though, she decided it best not to assume.
Orange just nodded excitedly.
Blue heaved a sigh. "Alright," Orange whooped, making Blue smile. "Can I finish your hair now?" the artist quickly sat back down, watching in the mirror as Blue brushed her hair, running gloved fingers through between brush strokes.
"Why do you always wear gloves?" Orange blurted, causing Blue to stop again.
"I just like wearing gloves," Blue answered.
Orange tilted her head curiously.
"I've got a secret hobby," Blue admitted, putting the brush down and tying Orange's short hair up. "I have to wear gloves for it, and I guess I just got used to wearing them."
Orange perked up, interested now.
"I'm not telling you what it is," Blue said, leaving the bathroom, Orange quick to follow.
"Can I guess?" the younger girl asked hopefully.
Blue eyed her and shrugged. "Sure,"
Orange hummed thoughtfully as they sat down, Blue having made egg on toast. "You're already a gardener..."
Blue tried to hide her amusement behind her toast, not that she needed to with Orange staring at her plate, lost in thought. "It's a sport." she offered.
Orange blinked, sinking deeper into her thoughts. Something Blue would enjoy... I could ask Green and Red.
"No cheating," Blue ordered, making Orange realise she said that out loud.
"Fine..." Orange grumbled, finishing her eggs, maybe she could follow Blue around sometime, then she'd find out.
Blue just stared at her, making Orange uncomfortable. Did I say that out loud again?
"You're gonna be late," Blue said again, nodding to the clock.
Orange looked at the clock and her eyes widened, she grabbed her toast and ran out the door. "See you at lunch Blue!"
Blue just watched her go, amused as she sipped her lukewarm tea.
