Yellow knocked on the door to the girls' dorm impatiently, despite what he told Red, he likely would end up skipping his afternoon classes, depending on how Blue was doing.

"Yellow?" Orange asked, looking worn out, or like she just woke up. "What are you doing here?"

"Purple said that Blue's sick." Yellow answered.

Orange heaved a sigh, bobbing her head and frowning at the tattler. "Blue's fine,"

"So, she isn't sick?" the engineer asked in confusion.

"She is, Blue just has a cold," Orange explained, hugging the door.

"Orange! Who are you talking to?" Blue called, poking her head around the door. "Oh, hey Yellow."

"Hi Blue," Yellow returned, staring pointedly at Orange, who just sighed in defeat. "Purple said you were sick."

Blue just hummed.

"I can't get her to stay in bed," the artist complained.

"You know I hate doing nothing," Blue snapped without any real heat. "It's so boring staying in bed all day."

"Well, if you want some company," Yellow offered.

"Don't you have class?" Orange asked pointedly.

"Don't you?" Yellow shot back.

Blue snorted in amusement. "I'd love some company,"

Yellow smiled, cheeks warming, while Orange just rolled her eyes and opened the door for the lovesick blonde.

----------

Orange scowled deeply at the slip of paper in her hand; she wasn't even supposed to leave college! At least not without telling Pink.

But she wanted to help Blue, so Yellow had 'drawn' her a map to the nearest pharmacy, only about five minutes away and impossible to miss, while Yellow 'took care of Blue.'

Orange knew the two were just going to spend the entire time flirting; the blonde had it bad, and Blue wasn't much better, Orange honestly wished they'd just confess already!

"And they've only known each other a week," she grumbled, ignoring the weird looks she was getting from talking to herself. Maybe we can help them when Blue's feeling better.

The artist looked at the map again, then glanced around, this should be the street, but it was just lined with houses, did she take a wrong turn?

"Are you alright?" a dark haired man asked, deep blue eyes boring into her with the slightest hint of curiousity.

"I, um, I'm looking for..." Orange held out Yellow's map, though more like shoving it at him, this man was really intimidating. "Here!"

"You at the college?" he asked, taking the paper.

Orange nodded. "I was getting medicine for my friend, but I don't really know where I'm going..."

"You got the wrong street," he said, walking away, then turned when he realised she wasn't following. "You coming?"

Orange nodded, if she wasn't terrified of the man, she might have found him asking that funny, since her name was Second Coming.

"Here we are," he stopped suddenly, the artist almost bumping into him, nodding to a white building and giving her the paper back. "Whoever drew that map needs to learn how to draw."

Orange gave him a small smile, unable to keep from agreeing, Yellow really was terrible at drawing, maybe she should teach him sometime. "Thanks, um?"

"Navy." he answered, sticking his hands in his pockets. "You?"

"S-Second Coming, but everyone just calls me Orange," she stuttered, deciding against offering a handshake, not that he seemed interested either.

"Well, see you around." he waved over his shoulder as he walked away.

Orange finally let herself relax, feeling sore from how tense she'd been, and went into the pharmacy.

----------

"I'm never doing that again!" Orange announced as she shut the door and slumped against it.

"What happened?" Purple asked, leaving the kitchen with a cup of tea, Blue and Yellow sat on the couch, staring at her curiously.

"I went to get Blue's medicine, but I got lost," Orange scowled at the blonde. "A man took me there, but he was really scary."

"What did he look like?" Yellow asked.

"Tall, dark hair, deep blue eyes..." Orange shuddered at the memory, failing to notice Purple paling. "Oh! And he said his name's Navy."

"That's my dad..." Purple breathed, slowly putting her drink down. "He's been like that ever since my mom starting working here."

"He never wanted children," Purple explained, trying not to think about when she first found that out. "He tried to get a divorce when I was born, but my mom told him to at least give me a chance."

"What a horrible father," Blue grumbled, moving up on the small couch to let Orange sit down as well.

Purple nodded in agreement. "He tried, but he was raised to believe children were just..." she swallowed, unable to finish. "My mom got a job here a few years ago, she sometimes sees him, but they've only talked once."

"Bet that went well," Orange said sarcastically, folding her arms with a huff.

Purple smiled sadly. "She told me 'that wasn't the man she married,' that he changed for the worse; she's been avoiding him ever since."

"Sorry," Blue said softly, while Yellow just quietly reached for the small bag Orange left on the coffee table. "I'd hate to grow up with my family not getting along all the time."

Everyone stared at Blue, Purple smiled gratefully, while Orange and Yellow just looked sad, both remembering the little girl she saved; and was likely referring to.

If Blue hadn't saved her, or even met her, maybe she'd be a different person, or at least someone who didn't hide.
