This is the epilogue guys. I must say. I started these stories as a young band obsessed teenager. To say I am embarrassed of the creative writing I possessed then would be incorrect, but this is something I no longer desire. I would never take these stories from you all. From the ones who grew up with these bands with me, to the new fans and readers who are just discovering Fanfiction. I am going to make this the final chapter, go back and do some editing (on the Christian Coma ones too) and make these stories better for you all. But these will be my last attempts. I spent many years as an English Major, and I am now studying Psychology. I think I may pick up on writing again, as it's going to be my only connection to my first love, creative writing, so I hope I'll see you guys all again! - Bre
"Dad! Ava took off her diaper again!" Angel yelled across the house. I am supposed to be taking a nap, but with a 10 year-old and almost 1 year old, it isn't possible. Chris thinks I am being dramatic, as he was on tour for a good 6 months. He didn't want to. Especially with Ava being so young, and with us just being married, but I didn't think it'd be such a great idea to take a new born on tour. He's been home for a few days now, and told the kids to let me rest but... I can hear all the yelling.
"Ava get back here!" I could hear him attempting to catch her. Ava, our little mischievous daughter, hates wearing diapers, especially after she pees. I have been attempting to potty train her, but she refuses to sit still. She is definitely our little wild card child.
I slowly made my way downstairs to find chaos spread throughout the house. "Ava!" I called out in a stern voice. I watched her peek out from the kitchen doorway. "Is your diaper wet?" I asked calmly. She shook her head no in reply. "Then put it back on..." I watched her as she watched me with wide eyes. "Now." She quickly scrambled to the living room and put it on. "Don't take it off again, Ava." She nodded her head and quickly sat down with her toys.
"How did you manage that?" Chris asked from behind me.
"Many months of practice. Sometimes Ava needs the stern voice to understand it's not a game." I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "You'll pick up on it soon enough."
"Well, I have to tell you something, but please don't be mad." He admitted as he hugged me back. I just shrugged my shoulders. I trust my husband, so whatever it is couldn't be too bad. "I know I told you to get some rest, but I forgot I agreed to have a pool day with the guys. They miss you and the kids and so I agreed before tour ended."
"Well that's fine. When is it?" I asked. When I received no response, I stepped back to look up at his face. " It's today, isn't it."
"Yes... I'm so sorry babe. I'll take care of it all. You just rest for the time being."
"No it's fine. I can clean while you start the food. Good thing I did enough grocery shopping. I assumed you guys would want to have a get together." I giggled.
"I married the perfect woman." He chuckled as he leaned down to kiss me.
Three hours later and the guys were showing up. Ricky was of course the first. He basically ran me over to get to Angel and Ava. He was inseparable from the little rascals and probably taught Ava most of the crazy things she does. Bree came in right behind him, and although she's just as attached to the kids, she stopped to hug me and say hello first. Bree and Ricky immediately took the kids upstairs to put on their swim suits. It is a warm day here in Cali, so they couldn't of picked a better day to have this get-together.
Balz was the next one in, and he is probably the second closest to me besides Ricky. Balz, surprisingly, always has great tips for taking care of the kids, as well as the cutest clothes for my little monsters. His vibrant personality makes the kids love spending time with him, but Ava is just a little scared of his shop.
Ghost and Ryan were next, and immediately, it was like having a house full of large children. There was yelling and screaming and cannon balls into the pool. Chris and I had upgraded the pool with a slide in the back for the kids, but still big enough for the guys to use.
The last one to show was Vinny. He's been touring with the guys as their drummer, and this past summer they made it official. Sweet Vinny however is very young. The guys connect with him but, I think he and I connected more. He's very much the little brother I've never had. He even confides in me when it comes to problems with girls. Most recently, he was dating one girl, but had a feeling that she wasn't interested in him, for him. She was honestly just a girl looking for some popularity. It made Vinny a little upset, and although I told him it comes with the job. He didn't understand until I started telling him about girls who had done that to the rest of the guys. I think that's when he really bonded with the band. He opened up about it and they all came forward to tell him he isn't alone.
By the end of the night, all of our pull-out couches were turned into beds, as the band spent the night. Chris and I sat out by the pool just enjoying the time alone.
"You know, I'll forever be grateful of the day you knocked me on my ass." I laughed as I reminded Chris of how we met.
"Even now," he smiled, "There's so much beauty when your eyes lay lost in all the city lights. But sitting here in the city lights with you, I've found love."
