I was sitting on the couch with my legs draped over Chris' and Angel asleep on his chest. Ever since we showed up, the two of them have been inseparable. Yes, Angel still said hi to everyone else and gave hugs but as soon as he was finished he was right back in Chris' arms. Even as everyone left and said goodnight he remained cuddled up to him.

"Baby"

"Yeah?" I peeked up at Chris.

"Come on, let's go put Angel in his bed."

"Oh. We were going to catch a taxi back to the hotel tonight."

"Shut Up and follow me upstairs." He laughed and pulled me up as he carried Angel. I gave a small giggle knowing he wasn't going to let us go. I don't even know why I tried.

When we got to the doorway at the end of the hall Chris stopped and looked at me. "You and I will be sleeping in there." Then he pointed to the room to the right of it. "This is Angel's room."

"For now." I finished with a smile and opened the door.

"For now and forever."

My smile faltered. "Wait, what?" I whispered as he laid Angel under the cars blanket. As I looked around I noticed the room had been painted a sky blue with clouds and on one wall there looked to be a black paved road with dirt around it.

"The guys and I repainted this room for Angel." I looked over to Chris as he kissed Angel's forehead then walked over to me.

"I want you guys to move in."

"I- but- Chris?"

"Baby, I'm serious. Move in with me. I was supposed to be writing these past few weeks and all I've really been doing is thinking about the two of you. I'm in love with you. And I love that little boy as if he were my own. Don't take that from me. Move in with me. Please."

And with a kiss to the lips I agreed. I agreed to move in with him, to let him show me love, and to be a father to my... our son.

When we were finally in our room Chris walked to his dresser and pulled out a pair of boxers and a tshirt for me to sleep in.

"Bathroom is right there." He pointed out for me as he handed me the clothes. "We'll go get your things from the hotel tomorrow."

As I changed into his clothes I looked at myself in the mirror. I've never questioned myself on my looks but I couldn't help but wonder. What made Chris love me. Was it looks? I hope it wasn't to get in my pants. Honestly it'd probably hurt Angel the most and I can't let that happen. I need to get out of he-

"Jen, baby you alright in there?" A knock on the door and the question interrupted my thoughts. Why am I second guessing this? Why am I second guessing us? Did the relationship with Tony really scar my heart that bad to make me question the next step in a relationship with another man?

"Jennifer?"

"I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute." I called back before I finished dressing and folding up my worn clothes. When I walked out, Chris was sitting on the bed facing the bathroom. It made me nervous.

"Hey, you okay?"

I simply nodded before dropping my clothes in the corner and walking over to the bed. As I stood in between Chris's open legs I smiled and shook my head. I question things for no reason at all. Chris isn't Tony. He wouldn't break me that way.

Chris had his arms wrapped around my waist and his face laying against my stomach.

"Jen?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

I couldn't help the grin that spread across my face as I looked down at him and ran my fingers through his hair. I guess I had stood like that for a few seconds because he looked up at me as if he was expecting me to say something still.

"Just as I love you Chris."

He gave me a large smile before standing in front of me.

"Which side of the bed do you want?"

"I don't care." I whispered as I leaned into him.

He gently yet firmly wrapped his arms around my waist before picking me up, sliding the comforter on the bed back and laying me on the sheet covered mattress. He laid the comforter back on my body before walking to the light switch and turning it off.

Within a few seconds I could feel his warm hands on my waist again as he pulled me close to him. My face buried in his chest as his was in my hair.

That night we fell asleep just like that.
