Watching City Lights (A Chris Motionless/Cerulli Love Story)

No Way!!

Today is my first day on the job. Chris gave me the basic rules and how it normally works before letting me handle it on my own. He took Angel with him too so I could get the hang of it for a while. Until their set began at least. Right now Angel was sitting in a chair next to me dazzling all the girls that walked by the tent with his adorable little smile.

"Jennifer? Jennifer Ruiz?"

I looked up to see my Bestfriend standing in front of me.

"Bree!" I hugged her over the table and then she looked over to Angel.

"Oh my! Angel you've grown so much! How are you?!"

Angel quickly jumped from his seat, climbed under the table, and ran into Bree's arms.

"I'm good."

"Jenni, when'd you become a merch girl for MIW?"

"A few days ago. Oh, Hold on let me help them." I nodded over to some fans approaching the table.

I had a long line of customers waiting and when I started getting to the end I heard screaming and looked up to find the band coming behind the merch tent.

"Hey Jenni. Who is that holding Angel?" Chris asked. He's been pretty protective of Angel... I like it... A lot.

"That's my Best Friend Bree. We didn't know one another would be here today and she just happened to see me."

"Well does she need a job? We could use another merch girl to help you out."

"Tell her to come back here and you can interview her with the guys."

He nodded.

By the end of the day I sold about 213 MIW Shirts and 200 hoodies.

I also had some extra company on the way. Chris agreed to hire my best friend. She was home now packing for the tour. Except she wouldn't be working merch. She was going to photograph the band during tours.

Yep, that's right. Bree has a talent with cameras. She's taken so many of Angel and I for special occasions and turned them into greeting cards. She's a wonder when it comes to photography.

And now she'll be joining in on the tour.
