The next morning I awoke to find the bus completely empty. I couldn't find Angel or Chris anywhere. I quickly grabbed my phone and called Chris.

When he answered the phone I heard the laughter of a group of guys.

"Hey Jenn what's up?"

"Chris I can't find Angel. I don't know where he is! Where are you? Can you come back to the bus to help me find him?! Chris I'm worried-"

"Whoa whoa whoa, Jennifer relax. Take a deep breath. I thought you would see my note on the door. Angel is with me. The guys were hungry and Angel was up hanging with me but I didn't want to wake you so I brought him with me. When you're done getting dressed walk outside, we're parked right in front of IHOP okay?"

"Oh okay. And thanks Chris, I see the note now."

He chuckled, "anytime sweetheart, see you soon."

"See ya." I replied before hanging up.

I quickly hopped into the shower and then dressed myself in a pair of light blue ripped skinny jeans and a black pullover sweater. I applied my eyeliner and coats of mascara then walked outside to see IHOP in front of me. I smiled and walked inside looking for the guys. It wasn't that hard considering they were the largest and loudest group inside.

When I walked over, Angel climbed over Chris and came running to me. "Mommy!" he shouted and hugged my leg.

"Hey You!" I giggled and picked him up in a hug.

"Mommy! Chris fed me chocolate chip pancakes!"

I giggled. "Is that so?" He nodded quickly. "Well were they good?"

He laughed before answering me. "Yes!" I walked over to the table with him in my arms.

"Good morning guys."

"Morning Mrs. Cerulli." Balz joked.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to, but I saw Chris kick him underneath the table and the rest of the guys laughed. I don't think I even want to know what was going on.

Chris stood to let me slide in and I sat Angel in between us and he immediately turned back to Chris and had an animated conversation about different toys and movies.

I reached into my bag to see how much money I had only for Ricky to stop me.

"We've got you covered. Food and sleeping expenses are paid for on tour." he smiled.

"Thanks," I whispered. I didn't expect his reply though.

"Chris is really good with your son. You should give him a chance."

"A chance?" I whispered back as I took a sneaky glance at Chris.

"I'm not supposed to be telling you this but..." he paused and leaned in closer. "Chris has a bit of a crush on you."

I smiled. "I'm pretty sure he doesn't." I looked back at Chris only to catch his eye and receive a heart warming smile. I smiled back just as the waitress walked over looking very nervous. She must be a fan.

"Would you like to order anything miss?" she asked trying keep her voice under control.

"Uh yeah, can I please have a veggie omelette with Hash browns and salsa on the side?"

I watched as she wrote my order down and then looked back up. "Anything to drink?"

"Uh, just a water."

She nodded and quickly walked away while Ghost and Ricky laughed quietly together.

"Alright, what'd you guys do to her?"

"What?" Ricky screeched looking at me.

"What ever do you mean?" Ghost questioned innocently. Oh yeah, they were definitely guilty.

"What'd you guys do to the waitress. She looked nervous coming over here!"

The two of them slid down in their seats and kept their eyes low.

This time Josh, Vinny and Chris snickered.

"Damn Jennifer, you haven't even began tour with us and you've already got the pranksters in check!"

"Oh, shut it Balz!" I giggled and looked over to Angel who was now sitting in Chris' lap.

"So what's the plan for today?" I asked watching the two of them make shadow puppets on the floor from the sunlight.

"Well, we are going to a party tonight. Wanna come?"

"Nope. I'm going to sit it out I've got Angel to take care of." I answered Ricky's question.

"Are you coming Chris?" Balz questioned with a smirk. What is up with them and these hidden questions?

"No, I think I'll stay with Jenni and Angel." he answered looking up for the first time since Angel climbed into his lap. He looked over at me and gave a smile. "What would you like to do today Jennifer? I'm not from around here so I don't really know what there is to do for fun."

"Well, Angel and I could show you around the city then."

He smiled. "I'd like that."

I smiled back as the waitress came back with shaky hands and put my omelette in front of me. I gently grabbed her hand. "Hun, why are you so nervous?" I whispered over Chris to her.

"Just well, uhm."

"Chris slide out really quick please?" He looked confused but did as I said with Angel in his arms. I slid out and grabbed the waitress' hand and my plate of food and moved a few tables away from the guys.

As I sat down I pointed to the seat across from me.

"Okay, I'm Jennifer and you are?"

"I'm Elizabeth."

"So what'd the guys do to make you so nervous? I'll make them pee their pants if you want a little payback."

"Well it's just..." she gave a short breath before looking me in the eyes. "I'm a big fan of Motionless in White. They think I'm so nervous because I'm serving my favorite band, but it's because I'm trying to hide all my old scars. I've stopped, I really have but it's embarrassing to finally meet the people who practically saved your life and they all of a sudden catch a glimpse of your scars. Ya know?"

I nodded. "I have a friend who used to self-harm so I sort of understand but not completely, I've just never been in that situation." she nodded and went to stand up. "No! No. Please stay and talk. The guys won't need anymore service I'm sure."

She gave a small laugh. While I finished eating my breakfast we talked about different bands and music and I gave her a few tips on how to stay clean to which she gladly accepted.

Once I was finished we walked back over to the guys and she didn't seem so nervous anymore. I picked up Angel from Chris' arms and then smiled. "I'm ready when you guys are."

They all nodded and began to stand up. Chris went to the front desk to pay and Ricky gave Elizabeth a tip.

I tried not to smile as she blushed when all of the guys gave her a tight hug.

When we left I turned to the boys and smiled. "You guys really are heroes." I gave them a wink and then Chris smiled.

"Alright, the guys are going to go take naps for their party. Are you ready to take me on a tour?"

"Yeah."

And from there we climbed into the tour bus and headed for my favorite part of Los Angeles. The Long Beach Pier.
