There is a tale from many, many years ago. About a little girl. But it's more than that. It's about heartbreak, growth, anger and healing. This is for all the people who've been through some tough times in this world. I know it may seem hopeless, but it gets better. Trust me 🩷
"Ok, now let's discuss the design for the fox you were talking about. You said you wanna design her yourself?" Henry asked and William nodded. "That's right."
"Alright, let me take notes of this so we're on the same page." He grabbed his clipboard and clicked his pen, leaning back and adjusting his glasses. "You said you wanted the gender to be female?" "Yep."
"Got it." Henry mumbled as he began writing on his clipboard and asked various other questions about her design and structure to get a feel on how they planned on bringing this idea to life. "Now, do you already have the blueprints for her?" He asked.
"I have rough sketches." William said, hastily pulling out craft paper covered in designs of the gorgeous robot. "I wanted her to have this kind of... beautiful earth goddess look, to encourage kids to take care of the environment. Though, she won't be a spring lock suit. I want to try something different with this project."
Henry took a look at them before smiling softly. "Impressive, I must admit. Well... I have designed most of the animatronics myself. I'm interested to know what an animatronic designed by you would look like."
William smiled back, clearly satisfied. "That's Great. I really do appreciate that."

William wiped the sweat from his forehead as he finally finished polishing his very first robot's metal. He smiled up at her in awe and pride, her beautiful white skin and hot pink hair reflecting the bits of light that managed to slip through the closed curtains.
He was so proud, he knew he'd done a good job and his first creation was definitely not a disappointing one. But does she work and will she last, was the real question.
He bit his lip and double checked all her wiring and her endoskeleton before the moment of truth. He pressed the button on her rosy red cheek and her face plates shot open, just how they were supposed to. He smiled and slowly ran a finger over them, admiring the rows and rows of sharp teeth he had given her, the true monster he had created behind the friendly facade.
He closed them back up and took a deep breath. He switched everything up to turn her on and quickly took a step back, looking up at her in anticipation.
Her big yellow eyes flickered for a moment before lighting up, and she sat up straight, the gears and metal creaking inside her as she did so. Her large ears moved up and down as her eyes scanned the room. Her face plates twitched and she waved, her tail swishing eagerly.
"Hello, children! It's so wonderful to see you all here on this fine day! I hope we can be friends, just like mother nature is our dearest friend! Now, what song would you like to sing today, my little fox cubs?"
His jaw practically hit the floor, he knew she was going to be great, but REALLY getting to see her come to life like this... It was like a whole other world. He blinked after a moment, the robot looking at him expectantly. He cleared his throat, trying to think of one of the children's songs he had programmed into her. It was strange how something that was only meant to look alive seemed to judge him with such a condescending look.
"Mary had a little lamb." he said finally, waiting for her to begin.
After being in the same position, waiting for his answer, her ears went up and her tail swished as she gently clapped her metal hands together. "Oh what an amazing choice! I love that song!"
Her soft yet angelic voice echoed throughout the testing room, filling his ears with the sweet melody of the nursery rhyme. The first test had gone much better than he expected.... She was perfect.
He almost wanted to continue listening to her voice, but he knew he had to record the test and prepare for her modifications. With one last look of admiration, he walked over and carefully switched her off mid song.
"Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little la- Oh, dear, it seems it's time for me to say goodbye, I hope I'll see you all next time!" She went back to her standard position, head and ears tilted slightly down and arms lifted just seperate from her body. He sighed and grinned as her golden eyes flickered off and the room was filled with silence as her gears came to a stop.
He picked up his clipboard and sat down. "Test 001, perfect!! Now let's just hope all the other tests go this well, and she'll be perfect for what I have in store..."
