Lori patiently waited for her new friend to return. She knew they would come back. They had to.

She heard the door open and she looked over to see a police officer. He looked young. Maybe 25. It must have been strange for them. The worst thing that ever happened in Hurricane Utah was someone getting mugged. When the disappearances started it must have felt like they were kids who's toy guns had suddenly become real.

She turned away and decided to leave him be.

"He won't last long in this place."

He shuddered, staring up at the stage and walked down the hallway, out of her sight.

After a moment she heard a scream. It was the officer. She nodded and stood up straight.

She heard the soft litter patter of little feet. Her ears twitched and she looked around, scanning her surroundings. It was Jason. And he was all by himself.

"Jason! What are you doing here by yourself? It isn't safe. You must leave." She hissed. He shook his head.

"N- no! I'm not leaving without Carlton!" He insisted.

She sighed. "Well, then you must hide. There is a dangerous man in this place. If he finds you, he won't you go." His face seemed to grow completely pale.

"Hide!" She said more impatiently.

His eyes darted back and forth between the room. They finally settled on the control room by the stage. He ran towards the room and slammed the door behind him. She stared at it for a long moment, considering the empty room before standing back up straight and going still.
