Beautiful fanart by my good friend Dolly_4333
This technically isn't fanart of this book but I still wanted to include it bc it's adorable it's from an alternate universe (my book "nothing good is made to stay")
She hadn't paid much attention the entire tour, lost in her own thoughts. She was enjoying herself for sure, it was so relieving to be outside, walking down the street with a friend and just relishing the fresh air and sunshine.
But the impending guilt in the back of her mind, the urge to stop this foolish masquerade and wake up, to save her friends that needed her. To stop this selfishness and go back to the pizzeria for the ones that needed to be saved once more.
".... And it's been here since 1891!... Lilith?"
At first She didn't respond to the fake name, not recognizing it as her own until She remembered it was the meaningless name She had given herself. She blinked a few times and looked up to meet the red head's concerned gaze. She rubbed her eyes and looked back down. "Sorry, I just... I was just thinking about something."
"Oh, ok. Well, I think that's mostly everything, is it as you remember?" He chuckled.
She furrowed her brow, trying to remember anything he had said on the tour, let alone what she remembered from her supposed past life. "Um, some of it. I guess Hurricane never really changes." She smiled softly and sighed.
"You got that right. You ok?" "Mmhm... Just tired." She exhaled and pressed her soft lips together. "Ah, yeah. Yknow, we could go to the cinema."
"The cinema... What's that again?" She squinted at the ground, knowing she recognized the world as something that used to fill her with excitement, but she couldn't seem to remember exactly what it was.
"Uh, you're kidding, right?" He chuckled and she raised an eyebrow. "No, what is it?" He blinked in disbelief and paused. "Um, a place where you can see movies, basically."
"Oh. Right. Now I remember." She rubbed her forehead. "Yeah... Are you alright? Maybe you should just go home. I can take you if you-"
"I'm fine." She snapped and looked forward. "I just forgot for a second... Let's go to the cinema." "Alright.."
