It was the grand reopening of Freddy's and children flooded in, surrounding the show stage.
This was the first time Foxina got a good look at the new animatronics.
"They're pretty." She whispered and the puppet nodded in agreement.
She looked over at a room labeled 'Kid's Cove' to see a fox that looked similar to herself.
The children were tearing them apart. She gasped lightly, watching the kids rip their limbs off.
"Poor foxy." She muttered sadly.
Eventually, kids ran into the prize corner. She felt a new programming in her trigger as the children came into her sight.
"Hello, there girls and boys. My name is Foxina, but since we're friends, you can call me Foxette. And this is my pal the marionette." She explained as the puppet waved. "It's so good to see you all on this bright and lovely day." She had to force a smile upon her face and all the children said hi in sync.
"Now, who's ready for some prizes?" All the children cheered loudly.
"I know I am! Now, just hand me your tickets and the marionette will give you your prize." She held out the tickets and all the children shoved each other aside trying to get to her first.
"Now, now fox cubs. Line up single file please. That way everyone can have a fun and safe experience." She scolded them and they all immediately lined up. It was messy, but still a line.
One by one the kids handed her their tickets and the puppet handed them various prizes.
After a long day of doing this, the sun began to set and all the children left.
She heard soft sobbing of not just one, but several children.
They looked at each other and immediately went to investigate.
