As they walked through the cafeteria everyone stared and at first Jisung didn't think anything of it because he was used to every eye in the room being on him. But as he looked around he started to notice that they were not looking at him and in fact were looking at Minho. Minho seemed to be oblivious to the attention he was getting and for some reason that just made Jisung even more aggravated. They arrived on the roof where they were meeting Hyunjin for lunch. Hyunjin leapt at Jisung, not seeing Minho behind him as he said "Jisung! You won't believe it, the whole school is a buzz about this new student that just started today, do you think it could be the guy you are showing around?" Minho stood up from tying his shoe to make eye contact with Hyunjin. Hyunjin stood wide eyed for a moment before saying "Yep. It's definitely him." "What do you mean it's 'definitely' him?" Jisung asked defensively. "I mean look at him, he looks like a Greek statue, he's got to be the one that has everybody talking." Hyunjin said in what was a failed attempt at a whisper. "Standing right here." Minho said trying to get them to realize he could hear every word they were saying. Hyunjin smiled awkwardly as he said "Sorry about that, I'm Hyunjin Hwang, softmore, i hope you don't mind hanging out with underclassmen." "Minho Lee, I'm a senior but I'm not one of those pretentious seniors that thinks he's better than underclassmen so don't worry." Minho said. "Sounds great Minho, its nice to meet you, please sit and eat lunch with us." Hyunjin said gesturing to the ledge where they could sit. "You guys eat lunch on the roof everyday?" Minho asked as he sat next to Hyunjin. "Yeah, I mean in case you haven't noticed Jisung here is the Prince of the school." Hyunjin said taking a bite of his food. "So I've heard...but I don't exactly understand what that means." Minho said.
Jisung looked at Hyunjin, pleading with dagger like eyes for him to stop talking. Hyunjin did not pick up on Jisung's subtlety and said "Well Prince is basically the highest level of popularity you can achieve here at Brightstone and Jisung's so popular that we can't even eat in peace in the cafeteria during lunch time. Everyone is always trying to talk with him and get time with him. So we come up here to avoid all that." "What about your other friends? They don't come up here to eat with you two?" Minho asked. Jisung and Hyunjin exchanged a glance. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't think about how you two might want to be alone together..." Minho said. "Why are you saying it like that?" Jisung asked. "I mean if you two are a couple, it would make sense why you want to be alone up here. I guess it is a pretty romantic spot." Minho replied looking at the view. Jisung and Hyunjin both whipped their heads to look at each other. Hyunjin blushed and said awkwardly "We are not together." Han blushed but replied in an angry tone "You can't just go around making assumptions like that." "Sorry but I didn't want to make an assumption that the two of you were straight either, I don't know your life." Minho said shrugging his shoulders. "Anyway... I hear you are apart of the fine arts department, what is your area of interest?" Hyunjin asked trying to change the subject. "Dance. Are you here for fine arts as well?" Minho replied. "Yes but not performing arts, I'm much too shy for that, I paint." Hyunjin said. "Really? With a face like yours, I would expect you to be a performer if not a model." Minho said. Jisung curled his lip in disgust as he thought 'Is he flirting with him?' Hyunjin blushed as he said nervously "A model? Please, you are just flattering me." "No really! You definitely cou..."Minho said before being cut off by Jisung. "Hyunjin is an amazing artist. You should really go see his work sometime. Anyway, lunch is almost over and we have our arts classes after so we better hurry up and eat." Jisung said as he took a big bite.
After lunch Hyunjin went his separate way to art class while Jisung and Minho walked to dance class together. Lea Brown, the president of the Prince Jisung fan club walks right up to the two of them and stops them in their tracks. She began twirling her hair as she said "Wow Prince Jisung, what a coincidence that we would run into each other here." 'At school?' Jisung thought rolling his eyes internally. But externally he was a ray of sunshine as he smiled charmingly and said "Lea, always great to see you but I really have to get to class." "Oh I won't keep you my Prince, have a wonderful dance class, I will be waiting for you after." Lea said as she waved dramatically like she was watching her husband go off to war. Interactions with Lea were always draining but there was one good thing that came out of this one. She didn't notice Minho at all, at least he could count on Lea to only have eyes for him. "Wow. That was... something." Minho said awkwardly. "Yeah she's a bit much. I guess you could say she's my number one fan." Jisung said shrugging his shoulders. "So tell me, do the teachers call you Prince too?" Minho asked smirking. "What's with you and the Prince thing? You jealous?" Jisung asked. "Jealous? Far from it, I think it's ridiculous." Minho said. Just as Jisung was going to come back and say something Jun bumped into him. She was going to fall but Minho caught her before she hit the floor. She looked up at Minho as he held her in his arms for a moment. Her eyes were glued to him and she was frozen. Minho helped her up and her eyes remained stuck on him. She smiled nervously as she cleared her throat and adjusted the hem of her shirt. Jisung stood there watching the whole thing unfold with that same disgusted expression he had earlier. "T-thank you for catching me. That could have been bad." Jun said to Minho nervously. "Of course, it's no problem. Are you alright?" Minho said. "Uh yes. Oh I'm so sorry, where are my manners. I'm Jun Park, senior fine arts student." She said before bowing which was a custom in her culture. Minho lifted her head up as he said "I appreciate your politeness but you don't have to bow. I'm Minho Lee, I'm a senior as well. Todays my first day." Her heart began to beat rapidly when he touched her chin to lift her head up. She sighed as she said "It's your first day? Welcome! Are you in this dance class?" Jisung stood there in awe at the fact that she had said absolutely nothing to him that entire time. 'What the hell is happening right now?' Jisung thought as he spiraled. He huffed past the two of them and into the classroom. "Geez, is he always this high strung?" Minho asked as he watched Jisung stomping further into the classroom. "You have no idea. High strung, high maintenance. All of the above." She said. They both laughed as they walked into the class together and Jisung rolled his eyes.
