"Good morning Jisung, you look... tired." Hyunjin said concerned. "It's because of him." Jisung said gesturing to Minho who was in line to get breakfast. Hyunjin raised an eyebrow as he asked "What did y'all do that was so tiring?..." Jisung twisted his face in disgust as he said "Get your mind out of the gutter! I meant he mentally exhausts me." Hyunjin laughed and said "Ha ha of course, I knew that. Why what happened?" "He's my new roommate." Jisung replied. "And that's bad because...?" Hyunjin said still confused. "Because I don't like that guy. He gives me a bad vibe like everything he says has a double meaning." Jisung said. "Oh ok well I think he's a bit sarcastic but he seems nice." Hyunjin said. Jisung rolled his eyes, of course the kind hearted Hyunjin wouldn't get it. "Let me ask you a question. Do you think he is more handsome than me?" Jisung asked. Hyunjin looked over at Minho as he was walking in their direction. He looked him up and down seeing his new look. "Umm... I don't know what to say..." Hyunjin said nervously. Jisung furrowed his brow and said "Exactly. I'm not stupid. Don't you get it now? He threatens my position at the top of this school. Remember how happy you were for me when everyone started calling me the Prince? I have a bad feeling that he might mess that up so I'm keeping a close eye on him even though I don't like him." Hyunjin asked nervously "Does that mean I can't be his friend?..." "No that's great! You should befriend him! In fact why don't you invite him to sit with us for breakfast." Jisung said. Hyunjin looked uncomfortable with how Jisung seemed to have ulterior motives but he also knew what it felt like to be new at a school so he got up and met Minho, asking him to join them. "Are you sure Jisung is ok with that? He doesn't seem to like me very much." Minho said to Hyunjin. "Oh no, he's the one who insisted." Hyunjin said. Minho raised a suspicious eyebrow. "Kicking me out this morning and then insisting I sit with you for breakfast. You are sending me mixed signals Prince. Is this you playing hard to get?" Minho said with a flirty expression as he sat down in front of Jisung at the table. "I don't know what you mean, I rarely do. But I assure you I have no strange intentions." Jisung said slightly flustered. "You are so formal, it really makes you seem even more like a Prince." Minho said as he took a bite of his food. Jisung liked it when everyone called him Prince but for some reason couldn't stand it when Minho did.

Dance class that day was much more normal with them learning new choreography. Jisung finally had the chance to show some of his skills. Jisung caught Minho stealing glances at him in the mirror during their practice and it just fueled Jisung to dance harder. At the end of class everyone was sweaty and drying off with towels as they talked. Jisung had a crowd around him complimenting him and he felt like all was right in the world. He looked over at Minho pushing back his wet hair, sweat dripping down his perfect nose. His side profile was no joke and even Jisung caught himself staring. He snapped back to reality when he saw Jun walk over to talk with Minho. It was just one girl but why did it bother Jisung so much. Probably because Jun was one of the prettiest girls at their school. Everyone always said that Jun and Jisung would be the power couple of the school if they got together. They actually had known each other since elementary school which I think made people even more obsessed with the pairing. Jisung and Jun weren't exactly friends because other than Hyunjin, Jisung didn't really have friends, just fans. But Jun and him were always friendly with one another but she had been giving him attitude or ignoring him since the day before and her new interest in Minho was just making it worse. Jisung pushed through his little crowd and walked over to Minho and Jun. "Jun, good job in practice today. You got even better since last year." Jisung said. "Jisung complimenting someone else? Now this is a rare sight. Are you feeling alright?" Jun asked sarcastically. "I deserved that." Jisung said smiling awkwardly. Jun raised her eyebrow at Jisungs sudden humility. "Do you want something?" Jun asked confused. "Geez I can't just compliment my old elementary classmate without wanting something? I see how you think of me." Jisung said. Jun looked to Minho who also looked suspicious. "Oh Minho, I didn't see you there." Jisung said pretending to just notice Minho. "Now that seems more like you." Minho said as he wrapped his arm around Jisung playfully. Jisung winced as the wet with sweat Minho touched him. "Aw looks like we are going to have to shower again Prince." Minho said with his arm still around Jisung. "You two are showering together already? That was fast." Jun said sarcastically as she laughed. "Oh no, our little Prince is too shy for that." Minho said as he moved a piece of Jisung's hair out of his face. Jisung pushed Minho off of him as he blurted "I'm not shy! I have nothing to be embarrassed about!" Minho's eyes widened as he and Jun looked at each other blushing slightly as they held back their laughter. "Then shall we go Prince?" Minho asked winking. "You wish." Jisung said in a huff as he stormed off.

Jisung went to the rest of his vocal and acting classes in a bad mood. He felt embarrassed by Jun and Minho both tag team teasing him and at how he wasn't able to control his emotions and blew up in front of them. Jisung was always really good at being able to adapt and act however he needed to in order to look the best and win over everyone so him flying off the handle even just a little was a new and scary development. Jisung thought back to how he had decided to keep an eye on Minho and keep him close but blowing up at him was not going to help with that. He feared that he had already made his dislike for him too obvious. 'I need to fix this, but how?' Jisung thought. Minho walked out of one of the vocal classes and Jisung went up to him. "So you sing too?" Jisung asked. "Yeah I sing but I'm not too interested in it, I just had already taken all the dance classes I was allowed to take so I had to fill a spot in my schedule with something." Minho said. 'That's a relief, I was getting scared that he was going to be great at singing too.' Jisung thought. "Well maybe we can sing together sometime. I would love to hear your voice." Jisung said smiling. "You can cut the shit Jisung, let's not pretend like you actually want to be friends with me." Minho said bluntly. "What?" Jisung asked caught off guard. "I have no interest in being another Hyunjin, whom you keep under your thumb disguised as a friend. I won't have my potential belittled by you like you did with him because you feel threatened or something. Now I like your friend Hyunjin and I feel sorry for him because he thinks you are actually friends with him so I will still hang around y'all but lets not be fake with one another." Minho said frankly. "It may have started off how you say but Hyunjin and I really are friends now, he is my best friend. But I get your point." Jisung said. "You don't have to be friends with me just because we are roommates and see each other in class. Let's just be civil, deal?" Minho said extending his hand. Jisung was a little taken aback, he had never had someone be so blunt with him and call him out so blatantly on his bullshit. It actually made him respect Minho a little more, he still didn't like him but he earned a little respect with that move. "Deal." Jisung said shaking Minho's hand. As their hands touched they shocked each other. They both pulled their hands back and looked into each other's eyes. Even though it was obviously static electricity, the imagery of them literally having sparks fly when they touched was not lost on them. They both started laughing nervously and for the first time since they met, things didn't feel so doomed.
