"I see we have a few new students this year. How about a dance cypher to see what kind of skills we got coming in the class." The dance instructor said as he motioned for everyone to make a big circle. 'Hmm a dance cypher, not everybody can do freestyle, let's see if this guys skill measures up to his attitude.' Jisung thought as he took a prime watching spot in the circle. First a few freshman went and stumbled through their freestyles and then it was Minhos turn. He jumped in the circle confidently and began dancing to the hip hop song with ease, even mixing in a little B-boying along with other styles. He ended with a body roll and a teasing wink in Jisungs direction. Jisung's stopped breathing for a moment being caught off guard by the sudden wink. 'Is he mocking me? Like challenging me?' Jisung thought. Just as he was about to impulsively jump into the cypher his teacher called out "Alright! I think we have seen enough for today, I'm definitely seeing some star potential!" The teacher grabbed Minho's shoulders and gave him a little excited celebratory shake. Minho smiled and thanked the other students humbly as they crowded around him complimenting him. Jisung sat down pouting slightly. Jun walked over and asked "What's with the face? You wouldn't be jealous of Minho would you?" "Jealous? What do I have to be jealous of, I'm the Prince of Brightstone." Jisung replied, regretting his own conceited words as they came out of his mouth. Jun scoffed at his obnoxious response and said before walking off "For now."
Jun's words kept repeating in his head over and over again. 'For now. What did she mean by that?' Jisung thought even though he knew exactly what she meant. It was only a matter of time till everyone started worshipping Minho instead of him. As much as he didn't want to admit it to himself, Jisung knew deep down that Minho was a threat to his beloved Prince title, whether Minho wanted it or not. 'The worst part of all of this though is that I still have to show this guy around!' Jisung thought as once again he was walking with Minho. Jisung showed Minho where the dance practice rooms were that he could sign up to use and the dorm bathrooms. At the end of their tour Jisung stopped in front of his dorm room. Jisung didn't bother to look at Minhos dorm room number, knowing they had to be on the same dorm floor since they were both in the fine arts department. He no longer wanted to act as Minho's tour guide and figured he should be able to find his room on the floor by himself. "Alright, it was nice meeting you but we should probably go to our own dorm rooms now. See ya around." Jisung said quickly. "Ok, thanks for showing me around today. It was interesting." Minho said chuckling slightly before putting his hands in his pockets. Without another word both Jisung and Minho reached for the door with a key. Jisung looked at Minho and said "Oh I'm sorry if I confused you, but I wasn't dropping you off at your room. This is my room." "Well then I guess I'm your roommate." Minho said. "No, no, you must be mistaken. I have had this room to myself since last year, I don't have a roommate." Jisung said. "Well you do now." Minho said as he handed Jisung his schedule where his dorm number was listed. 'This has got to be a sick joke.' Jisung thought to himself. He unlocked the dorm to see all of Minho's things already moved in on the other side of the room. Jisung plopped back on his bed ready to fall into a dramatic pit of despair when Minho spoke saying "It's weird, I wonder if they knew we were going to be roommates and that's why they asked you to be my guide for the day." Jisung sat up to see Minho sitting on the edge of his bed across the room. As he looked at Minho sitting only a few feet across the room, it was like a lightbulb went off in his head as he thought 'I don't care if it was the schemes of the office staff or fate itself, there is a benefit to being stuck with Minho so much.' Jisung sat up further and smirked to himself as he thought 'Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.'
Jisung woke up the next day with new found purpose. He woke up extremely early like he always did to go work out in the gym. He showered at the gym but went back to his room to get dressed in his uniform and get ready for the day. When he opened the door he stopped suddenly seeing Minho. He had taken off his nail polish and earrings and styled his hair. His uniform was even neatly tucked in and tie was properly done. Jisung felt his heart skip a beat. 'Now he looks like a respectable student. I'm screwed.' Jisung thought as he gulped. "I clean up pretty nice right? I figured I would take your advice about my uniform. If I'm going to get in trouble I want it to be for something more fun not uniform compliance." Minho said laughing. "Your hair is still blue though..." Jisung replied as he went to his closet to get his uniform. "Eh It's basically black. They can't take away all my originality!" Minho said. Jisung began to unzip his hoodie to change when he realized he didn't have anything under it. He looked up and Minho was looking right at him. Jisung gulped and zipped his hoodie back up as he asked "Do you have to just sit there and watch me?" "Oh sorry, I didn't realize you were insecure. I can leave if that makes you more comfortable." Minho said as he started towards the door. "I'm not insecure! I just... you are staring right at me. I didn't plan on doing a strip show at 7 in the morning." Jisung said nervously. "That's too bad." Minho said smirking as he grabbed his bag and left out the door. Jisung exhaled deeply as he thought 'This year is not going to be easy.'
