"Elections are coming up faster than you think Prince. We have to start campaigning soon." Lea said to Jisung as they sat in the back of class doing partner work for a science lab. "Don't worry Lea, there is still plenty of time, the election isn't until after winter break." Jisung said as he dropped something in the beaker and wrote down his observations. "But nominations are before winter break and you have to stand out above everyone else, you have to win again! You are the true Prince of Brightstone!" Lea said. "Is there someone else you think could win instead of me? Why are you worrying so much about it?" Jisung asked. "What?! Of course not! My prince, there is no one else as deserving of the title as you! The whole Prince Jisung club is behind you. There's no way you could lose!" Lea said. Jisung nodded and went back to doing his assignment. "Unless..." Lea added nervously. "Unless what?" Jisung asked looking up from his work. "Well... that new senior... Minho...some people, not me!...think he's pretty handsome and he has been seen hanging around a lot with Jun. If he and Jun were to date... I think that might be the only situation where we might need to worry..." Lea said nervously. "And what does that have to do with anything?" Jisung asked. "Well... she is pretty much the most popular girl in school and if they were to get together that would elevate his status a lot and I worry that it might mean trouble for us." Lea said. Just then the bell rang for them to go to their next class. "I have to go now my prince but please just forget what I said, you have nothing to worry about, everyone loves you." Lea said before leaving the class. Jisung walked to his next class in a daze, lost in his thoughts. He walked into dance class early to see Minho and Jun sitting on the floor, talking as they stretched. 'I can't let them get together. I have to do something, if dating Jun would elevate Minho's status then surely it would elevate mine as well. I will just have to go after Jun. Besides, she's as nice a girl as any and we have known each other forever, why not?'

After dance class Jisung walked up to Jun and said "Hey Jun, it's been a while, we used to talk all the time. What happened?" "I don't know Jisung, you seem preoccupied lately." Jun said. "Well I have to say you have seemed pretty preoccupied lately as well." Jisung said as he looked to Minho and back to her. She followed his glance, seeing where he had looked and her face turned a little red. "What is it you want Jisung?" she asked quickly. "I want to ask you to coffee, today, after school if you are free." Jisung asked. Jun's eyes widened as she asked nervously "Why?" "You are really making me spell it out Park. I'm asking you on a date." Jisung said smiling charmingly. Jun blushed slightly and said stuttering "Oh... uh... ok." "I'll meet you at the front of the school. Can't wait." Jisung said as he smiled. Jun smiled back flustered as she waved goodbye and left the classroom. Jisung could hear some of their classmates whispering and giggling as they looked at him. 'Plans working already. They definitely heard all that and soon it will get around that Jun and I might be a couple soon.' Jisung thought, pretty proud of himself. He met Jun out front of the school where everyone could see them meeting. They walked together as people stared. They took their seats in the cafe after ordering. Jisung chose a table in the middle of the place where they could be seen from all angles. "I was kind of surprised that you asked me out Jisung. Why now? After all these years of knowing each other." Jun said as they sat down. "It just felt like the right time." Jisung said as he looked around pleased to see people murmuring about them already. "In fact, I was actually surprised that you said yes so quickly, I thought it might take some convincing for you to agree to come with me." Jisung added. "Well I actually do like you... I was really happy when you asked me out." Jun said shyly. Jisung started to feel bad, knowing he did not feel the same for her. "You like me? But you have been so cold to me lately, like the other day, why did you reject me and kiss Minho during that game if you liked me?" Jisung asked. "I am not the only one who has been acting different lately, I was seeing a side of you that I had never seen before. I was upset and I thought kissing Minho might make you jealous and you would finally notice me, which is dumb, I know." Jun said.

"So you don't like Minho? I guess the best man won then." Jisung said loudly looking around to see if anyone had heard. Jun started to look around and then looked at Jisung. "What are you doing?" Jun asked with furrowed brows. "Huh? I'm... not doing anything... what do you mean?" Jisung said fumbling over his words. "Are you trying to get other people to hear our conversation? What is this?" Jun asked getting increasingly more angry. Jisung began to sweat as he looked at Jun nervously. "I can't believe this. This is all about being popular isn't it? It always is. I knew you would do anything for your precious Prince title, but pretending to like me, I didn't think you would stoop that low. You know, I liked you before you had all this, before you had your looks and your talent and your title. Now I don't even recognize you." Jun said standing up. Jisung looked around trying to smile and pretend like everything was fine to onlookers. "And you're still worrying about your fans right now, screw you Jisung, you want to give them a show, well here's a show." Jun said as she splashed her iced coffee in Jisung's face and left. Jisung was frozen in shock for a moment as the coffee dripped down his face. He wiped his eyes to see that multiple people around the cafe were recording the whole ordeal. 'This can't be good.' Jisung thought. Jisung returned to his dorm still in his coffee soaked shirt. He walked in to see Minho glaring at him. He jumped back surprised to see Minhos scary expression. "What the hell is wrong with you? How could you do that to Jun?" Minho asked angrily. "What do you even know?!" Jisung said biting back. "It's all over the internet idiot. She is such a nice girl, and you were just playing around with her feelings like that." Minho said waving his phone around. "Mind your own business!" Jisung said as he grabbed a pair of clean clothes to change into as he washed his coffee stained uniform. "If you don't want people in your business maybe don't get put in dumbass situations that end up on the internet for everyone to see." Minho said as Jisung slammed the door on his way out.

"I... saw the video... why did you do that to Jun?" Hyunjin asked the next day at breakfast. "I get it, I'm an asshole, you wouldn't understand. Can we talk about anything else?" Jisung replied as he took a bite of his food. Jisung and Hyunjin usually sat in the cafeteria for breakfast since there were less people that would come up and bother them since it was early and not everyone woke up for breakfast. Lea, and the rest of the Prince Jisung fan club, on the other hand were always there. Lea ran up to Jisung, phone in hand, opened to a video of the coffee shop incident and said "Jisung! Is this true? When I told you to worry about Minho and Jun dating, I didn't mean for you to go out and try to date her! Part of your charm is the fact that you are unattainable and not interested in or ever dating anyone!" "The worst part is not even the video getting around, there's actually pictures circulating of Minho and Jun walking together after the cafe incident and what people are commenting is what is most troubling." Lea added. "What are they saying?" Jisung asked. "There's a lot of comments like this one." Lea said as she showed Jisung a comment under a picture of Minho and Lea walking close together. "Looks like the best man did win??" Jisung said reading the comment out loud. He then dramatically hid his face with his head on the table. "Dang using your own words against you... that doesn't look good..." Hyunjin said. "No shit Hyunjin! That's not helping." Jisung said angrily as he lifting his head. "This whole thing doesn't look good on you Prince but I know you can fix it somehow. But one things for sure, people are rooting for Minho and Jun so we can't let them get together by any means necessary." Lea said. Jisung nodded and got up to throw away his trash as he tried to think of how he could keep them apart since him taking Jun off the market definitely wasn't happening now.
