After The War

Chapter 13

Jessica's POV

As Chiron led me to the Big House I was slight scared. Not in like he's scaring me. Just how it seems like I could tell him anything.

We walked into the house and ended up in an office. The office was plain, but had many photos of campers. I saw many pictures of Percy and his friends.

Chiron took out a wheel chair and started to lower himself in. I thought he was never going to ever fit in it. A couple seconds later his whole horses body was in the chair. I looked at him shocked.

"How- what- where? What just happened?"

He chuckled.

"Magic," he said.

I stared him confused. He shook his head.

"Now, why don't you tell me your story."

I felt obliged to tell him. To get his approval. I started my story.

I started to retell my tale.

I began with when I was younger. How at first I was in an adoption center when my parents left me on the door step. Then onto my adoptive parents, John and Angelica, and how they were always yelling at me. And then how they eventually started beating me.

Chiron sat there quietly, listening intently, not speaking.

Finally I got to the part where I was sort of claimed.

"So they told me I am a child of Poseidon."

He gasped.

"And Sally Jackson."

He paled.

He rubbed his head.

"I will- I will see to this later. You will stay with your brother. Have him teach you everything you need to know. Also have him take you to see your mother. As for me, I need to speak to the gods. It's past lunch. To get your food and find Percy. I will speak to you later."

I nodded.

"And Jessica do not tell anyone. Do not talk to this to anyone other than Percy and Annabeth until I give the okay to. Okay."

I nodded again.

He waves his hand, so I get up an leave.

Wow, I thought, what next.

Yeah so next chapter. Jess will see her mom in the next chapter and then they will go back to high school. And I know I haven't had many high school scenes but that changes now. Well in two chapters but yeah see you soon.

And these are basically filler chapters so they are short and really unimportant I will try to get past these but I have writers block and am working on other stories too.
