Leo's POV
I realized that letting Jessica drive may not have been the smartest thing that I had ever done especially since she didn't have her license.
We were driving down a highway and Jessica was going about fifteen miles above the speed limit. It may not seem like much, but to a strict cop it was way to much.
It started when she zoomed past one of the watch police on the side if the highway. Is lights went on, and he started to trail our car.
"Jess, look what you did now," I said sarcastically.
"What am I going to do," she shouted, "I don't have a license!"
My smirk fell as I realize that we were going to get in serious trouble.
The officer knocked on the window making Jessica jump and knocking me out of my daydream.
"Roll down the window," his voice was muffled by the window but still audible.
Jessica slowly let the window down and smiled innocently. She was anything but innocent.
"Hello Officer," she squinted reading then name, "Hancook."
"It's Hancock," he replied gruffly. I smiled and held back laughter.
"Sorry, sir."
"License and registration."
"Umm, well here's the thing," I started, "She doesn't really have a license, and I was just-"
"Please step out of the car, both of you," he interrupted.
I stepped out, and Jessica followed. I walked on to their side and stood next to Jess as the officer hose back to his car.
"See, this is what happens when you wanted to drive," I said scowling.
"I'm sorry, but it's not like anything bad could happen."
"You guys are coming with me," said the officer right after Jessy replied back to me.
I gave her the 'you-just-had-to-say-that' look and followed. Hancock obviously didn't like us because he placed handcuffs on our wrists, and stuck us in the back seat.
"Oh gods, we're going to be in so much trouble," Jessica moaned.
"And whose fault is that."
She rolled her eyes and attempted to hit me. I laughed at her and stuck my tongue. She looked irritated, and she kicked my leg.
