Jessica's POV

"I really don't want to do this," I say shakily.

"Oh so you're scared, you wimp," scoffs Clarrise.

"Don't worry, it will be fine," says Percy.

"Yeah right," I reply.

"No, it will. I've seen her bowl. Your better," he replies.

I look at him cautiously an squint at him. "Okay, fine. Lets do this."

Clarisse insisted I go first, so I rolled. It hit two pins. Two pins.

"She can't even get half," says Clarisse, "thought you said she was good."

I grew red, "I am good I was just distracted by your ugly face."

The others cover their mouths to hide their laughter, while Clarrise burns up and glares.

"Get on with it already," she spits out.

I roll again, but this time I knock them all down. I turn around and smile at everyone.

"Your turn," I say mockingly.

She growls at me and walks froward. She bowls a strike. I scowl, while she smirks.

"Bring it on," she says.

The game continued, us taking turns. We continuously got strikes and spares. Finally it came to the last bowl.

"Go, Jess!" yelled Percy.

Clarisse already went and got two strikes.

She was twenty points ahead of me.

"Come on, Jessica!" shouted Leo.

I blushed and smiled slightly. I brought the ball up to my nose. I closed my eyes and breathed in slowly.

'You can do this, Jess,' I said to my self. I slowly brought it down and the time slowed. Or it seemed like it. I rolled the ball down the lane. It rolled and rolled and rolled down the lane. It got to the end and knocked down all the pins.

"Yay!" the people who wanted me to win, cheered.

"Yes," I said to myself quietly. I grabbed my ball again and walked to the line. I pulled my arm back and when I let the ball to, a vision came to me.

*enter vision*

"We need to get them," said a voice. It was deep and scratchy.

"But why them. That boy and girl are nothing," said another squeaky voice. It was higher than the other, but still sounded like a man.

"Together they will be very powerful," said the deep voice.

"What do you mean "will be"?"

"You'll see," the man said ominously.

*exit vision*

The ball fell out of my hand, and slowly made its way down the lane. In the middle it fell off the tracks. I had lost, but I wasn't worried about that.

I heard cheering and boasting in the back round, but I hardly heard that. My knees started to wobble, and I fell over. I started shaking.

"Jessica!" shouted voices.
