PERCY'S POV

"Annabeth, I have to talk to Jessica. I'll meet you at the car, okay," I say turning towards her.

"Yeah, sure. Can I have the keys?" she asks looking at me weirdly.

She has reason to, I guess.

I nod, while walking backwards towards Leo and Jessica.

"Hey, Leo can I talk to Jessica alone?" I ask sending Jessica a look.

Leo looks around suspiciously, but nods. "I'll see you later, okay, Jessy."

"Yeah, yeah go ahead Wire Head,"she says smiling. Leo smiles at the nick name.

"What do you want to talk about, bro," she says happily.

"I want to know when you want to tell everyone, you know our situation," I say awkwardly.

She looks pale for a second, but starts to nod slowly.

"Yeah we can do that. But I have to go on a walk with Leo after school. I can tell him there while you tell everyone else," she says nodding along with with her ideas.

"Okay, when is you're walk?" I ask her.

"Whenever we're done here," she replies happily.

"Okay then. We're done here. Can I come home with you guys, Annabeth took the keys,"I say rubbing my neck squinting slightly.

"Yeah, come on. I'm driving," she says happily.

"Never again, will I let you drive when I am I'm the car," I say happily stepping on solid non-moving ground.

"It wasn't that bad," says Leo smiling wildly as he gets out of the car.

"It wasn't bad, that's like saying it's fun being on the wrong side of Annabeth's knife. It just isn't true," I say addressing him. "Did you even have your driver's license?" I ask her.

She shrugs. "No, I just recently turned seventeen though, so I'm old enough."

"Why haven you got your license?" Leo asks.

"Do you have your license," she asks in reply.

"Yeah we all got them after the war. Chiron wanted us to help with the driving and stuff."

Her mouth forms an o shape.

"We'll okay then," she says.

I smile a little and laugh inside my head. 'Serves her right.'

"Well we have to get to our walk," she says trying to change the subject from this awkward conversation.

"Yeah, we'll see you later, Perce," said Leo.

"Bye Water Boy."

"Bye Nemo."

She growls back at me, and I run into the house laughing.

"What are you running from?" asks Piper who was sitting.

"Nemo," I say breathless.

"The fish," asks Jason.

"No the person," I reply.

"Who?" voices Piper.

"Jessica," says Annabeth coming down the stairs.
