El's Pov

Me and Mike just kissed and said we liked each other. I'm trying to keep calm but inside my head I'm screaming of happiness. I didn't even realize I liked him until now. He was just so perfect. His hair, his eyes, his everything.

Wait am I in love? No I can't be in love. I'm in like. Yeah totally. I feel bad for Mike. His parents treat him wrong just because he's trans. It's fucked up.

"El are you okay you were zoning out," He mumbled. "Oh yeah I'm fine Mike," I said," Thanks for asking," I continued.

"Do you wanna maybe go out on a date tonight." He asked shyly. "Of course I want too," I said.

"Alright well I'm going to head back to my house to grab some things," he said. "Alright be careful," I said.

"I should be fine both my parents should be at work," he said reassuringly. "Alright but still but careful Mike," I said.

"I will El, trust me," he says as he pulls me into a hug. I immediately hug back of course.

I trust that Mike will be careful. He always is. Except for when he smokes in public but that's it.

My train of thoughts end when I feel him pulling away. He starts to walk towards the front door.

I hope he'll be okay.

Mike's Pov

I shut the door to El's house. I grab my skateboard from beside the door and I start to take off towards my house.

I see my house off in the distance and I don't see any vehicles so nobody is home.

I walk inside and there my mother is standing in the kitchen. Crap her car must be parked in the garage.

"Where were you Michelle?!?" She yells. "I-I was at at friend's," I stutter.

"I didn't know you had any friends since you're a transgender freak," she said harshly. "Yeah so what," I mumble.

"I am a freak!" I yell, "You put me through hell!" I continue to yell," Your not my mother, and you never were!" I yell as loud as I can.

"Get your shit and get out of my house!" She hollers," and don't ever come back!" She continues.

I just got kicked out. I knew this was going to happen. It was inevitable.

I walk up the stairs to my room and I grab my suitcase. I grab all of my clothes and some other things and I put them in the suitcase. I grab my school bag and I walk out of the room and head towards the front door.j

El's Pov

He should be back by now. I'm getting worried. I go to look outside and I see him walking down the road.

As he gets closer to me I notice that he's crying. "What happened," I say worryingly. "My-my mom s-she kicked me out," he stuttered.

"Why?" I asked. "Because I'm trans," he murmured. "That is no excuse for that to ever happen," I said angrily.

"C-can I-I stay with you?" He asked nervously. "Of course you can Mike," I said softly as I pull him in for a hug.

"Thank you so much," he says happily as he hugs me back.

I don't say anything as I leave us in a comfortable silence. I start to wonder, why would anyone do this to such and amazing human being just because of gender.

This society doesn't work like that though. The world is a cruel place isn't it?

Authors note: I'm so glad to finally have a chapter out. Mike got kicked out. How do we all feel about that. We hate his parents now of course. We already do hate them tho. Have a good day/night.
