Mike's Pov

I woke up feeling very groggy. The memories of yesterday began to fill my mind. I look beside me to see El peacefully sleeping next to me. Her arms were wrapped around me tightly so I couldn't move.

I stared into the ceiling waiting for El to wake up. I noticed the ceiling fan was turned on so I stared at it instead.

Suddenly I feel something moving beside me. It startled me as I was zoned out. El rubbed her eyes and yawned, it was cute.

"Goodmorning Mike," she said and she smiles at me. "Goodmorning El," I said back. "I'm going to go to the bathroom," she says and she gets up and walks into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. I get up and go use the other bathroom in the hallway.

I go to the bathroom and then I brushed my teeth with a spare toothbrush. I look at myself in the mirror and I remember when I told El about my scar.

I take my binder off and I look at the scar on my back. Why am I so ugly? Why does El even like a trans freak like me? Those questions may never be answered.

I get out of my train of thoughts and I get out of the bathroom and walks back the El's room. I put a shirt on before she comes back into the room.

Another minute passes and El comes out of the bathroom. Her hair is now brushed and her breath smells like she brushed her teeth.

"I'm gonna go smoke," I said casually and walk out of her room and outside on the porch. I take my pipe out of my pocket and I load it. I grab my lighter and I put it to my mouth to take a hit.

El walks out onto the porch as I let out the smoke. "Do you want some?" I ask trying not to pressure her. "I would but I'm afraid to smoke out of the pipe," she said quietly.

"Have you ever heard of shotgunning?" I asked her softly. "No I haven't," she said," could you show me?" She asked me. "Sure I'll show you," I said. I take a hit and then I kiss her softly. I part my lips and she does as well and I blow the smoke into her mouth.

I let go from the kiss as she blows the smoke out. "So that's what it is hm?" She smirks at me. "Yeah, it's nothing special," I mumbled. She giggles at me in response. "I find you being wholesome all the time really cute you know," I whisper in her ear and her face turns bright red.

"Can we go back inside it's kinda chilly," she asked. "Yeah we can go back inside," I mumbled. We both walk inside and she sits on the couch. I follow her and sit beside her.

"You wanna go on that date tonight?" I ask. "I would love to," she said and smiled at me.  "I'm gonna go out in a couple hours and plan out our date," I mumbled,"does that sound good?" I ask. "Yeah that sounds good, you can borrow my car if you want," she said.

"Thank you," I said softly. I put my arm around her and she leaned into my chest.

We sit there for a good 3 hours and before I knew it, it was 3 pm. "Hey El I really have to go set up our date now," I whispered softly. "Alright, the keys to my car are in my room," she whispers back half asleep.

I noticed that she was tired and I picked her up bridal style and I carried her to her room. I laid her on her bed and then grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note on it telling her I was gonna be gone for a couple hours. I taped the note to her nightstand and I grabbed her car keys and headed out.

I made it to the store and I bought all the things I would need for me and El's date. I first when to the Christmas light section, for some reason they have it out all year. I grabbed some white ones and some rainbow ones. I made sure they were the kind you could use batteries to power them. I grabbed some batteries that were near by and then I headed to the electronics section.

Once I went to the electronics section i found the cheapest projector I could find and I bought a DVD of a couple good movies. Then I went to the bedding section and I got a thick white sheet. Then I went to the food section.

I grabbed some eggos and some chicken fingers from the freezer section. Then I grabbed some salami, cheese and crackers. I got some sodas and some water for us to drink and then I went to the kitchen supplies area and I bought some paper plates. Then I was ready to head out.

I made my way over to the checkout and payed for everything. Then I left the store and took off back home.

When I got back home I put the food away for now and I grabbed some extra blankets and pillows out of the blanket and sheet cabinet. I when out to a good spot behind El's house where she couldn't see me from her bedroom and I set up the lights on some trees. Then I laid the blankets down and some pillows.

I set up the white sheet I bought on some tree branches and set up the projector and put a movie in. I decided on out of the movies I chose to play the live action Beauty and the Beast movie. El seems to like Disney.

I went back inside and I got all of the food. I made some eggos in the toaster and I put the chicken fingers in the air fryer El has. While I waited for the chicken fingers and the eggos to be done I cut some slices of the cheese and laid them out of a plate with the salami and crackers.

Once the eggos were done I put them on a plate. Then the chicken fingers were done and I put them on a plate as well.

I careful walked outside and I set the food down. I brought a lid to cover the food so it doesn't get cold. I walk back inside and go into El's room and I hear her in the shower. I grab a shirt, some of my pants, and my binder and I get ready.

I don't really do anything fancy with my outfit but I did brush my hair for once. Once I heard El get out of the shower I ran out to the living room.

About fifteen minutes went by and El finally walked out. She was wearing some black tights with a white shirt and my Nirvana hoodie. "You look beautiful," I said and grab both of her hands as I look into her brown eyes.

"Thank you," she said as she blushed. "Anything for you my flower," I said coming up with the nickname. She smiled at me when I said that. "Close your eyes and follow me, I'll tell you when to open them alright?" I said. She nods in response and she closes her eyes. I take her hand and I start walking while she follows.

Once we get outside and behind her house I stop walking. "You can open your eyes now," I whispered. She opened her eyes and looked at what I set up in awe. 
"You did this just for me?" She asked in shock.

"I do anything for you El," I said. It sounded cliche but I didn't care. I don't think El did either. She hugs me and puts her head into my chest. I hug her back grabbing her waist with one hand and putting the other on her upper back.

We both let go at the same time. We both stood there looking at each other in awe. "Let's watch that movie now shall we?" I asked. "We shall," she said quietly. We both laid sat down on the blanket and ate some of the food I made. El instantly went for the eggos and I ate some of the chicken fingers.

After we finished eating most of the food we laid down on the blanket. El had her head on my chest. We laid there in a comfortable silence eventually falling asleep next to each other while watching the movie.

Authors note: I actually wrote a long chapter, sorry this one took so long to come out, I've been really busy and stressed lately. Also its over 1400 words so I'm proud of myself for once. Have a good day/night.
