Your P.O.V:

Kisumi smiled and asked Makoto, "How'd you two meet? Just wondering."

"Well, there was a fight between her brother and Ryugazaki Rei, one of my teammates who swims butterfly. Then she had to come down to the office of the school and tell her brother to apologize. She then watched my team and I practice for almost an hour." Makoto said with a slight smile.

I nodded and looked down, admiring Kisumi's looks and personality. This isn't my first crush ever, though. I've had many crushes in the past, but Kisumi might be the best one yet.

"Something wrong, Y/N-chan?" The pastel-pink haired boy looked at me, confused.

I scurry to look back up and I chuckled nervously. "Sorry, uh, just a little tired." I looked around, hearing the morning birds chirping. The small breeze making my hair slightly sway behind me.

Makoto yawned and smirked at me. "I'll leave you two alone for now. See ya!" He ran back to his house, and waved to me and Kisumi.

We both shouted,

"You're gonna leave me with Y/N?!"
"You're gonna leave me with Kisumi?!"

I sighed and looked up at Kisumi, who was blushing a bit. I bet he was nervous that he was just alone with a girl.

I smiled and started a conversation out of the blue, "So, Kisumi, I heard you play basketball."

"Yeah, I'm going to college soon, and I'm gonna play basketball there. Thing is," He pauses, then shakes his head slowly. "It's not important." He looks down at me and smiles brightly.

My heart skipped a beat. He was so cute, with that hair. Those eyes...

I snapped out of my daydream and smiled back at Kisumi. I noticed that the small breeze, became bigger and blew my hair in my face.

Kisumi pointed to the hair that flew into my face caused by the wind, "Oh, Y/N-"

"I know, I know." I chuckled and grabbed a ponytail band out of my pocket, and put my long, H/C hair into a ponytail. I looked better in this style. I thought it made me look, cooler.

I stuttered slightly, "K-Kisumi, I have to get going. My brother needs me to cook breakfast f-for him."

"Oh," Kisumi frowned. "Can't he cook? I'm sure he can."

I shook my head and twiddled my thumbs. "No, he's fourteen and he still cannot cook. Plus, my parents are," I almost choked saying the word, "dead."

Kisumi gasped. "I'm so sorry, Y/N! How did they, um, die?" He asks with a sad expression.

I clenched my fists. "Murder. A intruder came into our house and they killed my parents! I'm soon going to find out who did it." I sat down in the brown mulch. Kisumi sat next to me and looked at my E/C eyes.

"I can help you," He leans closer to me.

I freeze, then back away. "Ki-Kisumi, we just met!" I blurted out. "I-I can't now." I sigh.

Next thing that I heard was just a cute laugh. "Y/N-chan, you should know, I'm good with the ladies." He winks at me, but I notice that he's trying to hold in a laugh.

"Hm, interesting." I smirk, but laugh shortly after. "Okay, seriously, I have to get home now. So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"

Kisumi smiles with a blush, then hugs me. "Of course! That's what friends are for! We can meet here every afternoon!"

I hug him back.

I couldn't help but smile with him. He was so kind, friendly, and cheerful.

I nodded and wave "bye" to him. "See ya, Kisumi!" I run off back to my house.

I can hear his voice, Bye Y/N-chan!~

I sigh as I walk inside my house. I slipped off my flip-flops and headed to the kitchen.

My brother notices that I walk in, and frowns. "What took you so long?" He asked.

"Met up with someone. Don't ask any more." I put my apron on, which had my mom's signature on it.
"What do you want?" I called out to my brother, who was all away across the room.

"Onigiri and mom's homemade ramen." He called back.

I froze. He never wanted me to make mom's homemade ramen. I only know how to boil the water and pour the water in the noodle box. THAT'S IT.

"You should know, I can't make mom's homemade ramen." I said with a depressed expression.

"Oh? Shoot, we don't even have the recipe. Well, can I have onigiri and the leftover orange chicken from Panda Express?"

I chuckled silently. "Sure. I'll give you the chicken first." I open the fridge and grab the styrofoam box that held double orange chicken. I've had it before, and it's delicious.

I put the orange chicken on a paper plate and put it in the microwave. I put it on 25 seconds.

After the twenty-five seconds passed, I grabbed the paper plate topped with steaming hot orange chicken, and place it on the table. I then grab rice and nori seaweed and make some onigiri by hand.

"There," I give a plate of onigiri to B/N, who is drooling with hunger.

I rolled my eyes. "Just eat before you get your saliva on your food." I wiped my greasy and sticky hands on my apron. I slowly take it off and place it on a metal hanger.

I can hear B/N chomping on the orange chicken and onigiri. I smile slightly and hop onto the couch. I adjust my position and look at my phone. I notice that I got a text.

It was from Kisumi.
