Your P.O.V:
My jaw dropped to the floor. HOW IN THE NAME OF SWEET MOTHER OF STRAWBERRIES DOES HE KNOW MY NUMBER?
If Makoto gave him it... Grr...
The text read:
Hey! Glad we could talk today! Wanna hang out tomorrow? Oh! Makoto gave me your number, so... yea... He also told me that your brother gave him your number.
I growled and yelled to B/N, "B/N! Did you give Makoto my number?"
"Yeah, why--"
I grabbed his shirt collar and growled. "Now Kisumi is texting me! I'm so embarrassed, I don't know what to freaking say!"
B/N sighed and pushed my hand off of his collar. "Okay, I'm sorry. And who's Kiss me? The person you met?" He gave me a puzzled look.
"It's Kisumi! Ki-Soo-Mee." I frowned and went back to the couch.
I heard my phone vibrate as soon as I sat down. I grabbed my phone and it was Kisumi again.
The text read:
Hello? Sorry if this is all sudden. Gotta go, TTYL.
Dammit, I had my chance to talk to him, but I didn't use it. Well, I guess I'll talk to him later, like he said.
I heard B/N ask me from the kitchen, "Does he like you? I bet he does."
I gripped my phone harder, almost cracking it. "No, he does not! We're... friends." I finally said, nervously.
"Ah, just wait, you'll become more than friends." He smirks and takes his plates and silverware to the sink, and washes them.
"I hate you, B/N!" I stomped up the stairs, and walked into my room, slamming the door behind me. I heard a whoosh as soon as I slammed it closed. I sighed and sat at my desk, where all my work was done for school. My laptop was located there, also.
I saw my volleyball in a dark corner of my room. The volleyball was given to me from my parents. I clenched my fists and held the tears that were about to flow.
Whenever I saw or heard something related to my parents, I would have a breakdown. They were so close to me, and my brother. I miss them. So much.
The next day, which was Sunday, was when I was gonna meet up with Kisumi again. I walked down to the park where we last met, and waited for him to arrive. He eventually did five minutes after I arrived.
"Y/N-chan! Good afternoon!" He grins and hugs me.
I blush, but I then hug him back.
"I'm so sorry about suddenly sending you a random text," He sighs and places his hands on my shoulders. "Hope you can forgive me."
"No, no, it's fine!" I smile and giggle. "My brother caused all of this, giving Makoto my number, then Makoto giving it to you." I roll my eyes, just thinking of that rascal.
Kisumi nods and says, "Wanna take a walk?" He slowly takes my hand.
I blush, but nod with a smile.
We start walking on the sidewalk that led us to the school. Kisumi lived almost a mile away from the school, but he doesn't go there anymore, since he's heading to college soon. I lived two miles, which was only five minutes away from the school.
"We might have to stop walking soon,
since I have to pick Hayato up from his swimming lessons." He sighs and ruffles his hair. So messy...
"Oh, okay--WAIT. Swimming lessons on a Sunday?" I looked at Kisumi.
He chuckled nervously and blushed. "It's complicated," He says.
I notice that Kisumi was about to run into someone. "Kisumi," I say, "there's someone--"
Too late.
He ran into a tall man with short dark brown hair and teal eyes. I felt like I knew this person, but I wasn't 100% sure.
"Kisumi, watch where you are going." The man says with a serious look.
Kisumi recognizes the man, and sweats with fear. "Sousuke! I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going and--"
"Who's this young lady?" Sousuke interrupts. "Your girlfriend?"
Kisumi lies with a nod. "Yup! We've been dating for almost a week. She's really nice and friendly. I feel like you two could get along great!"
I clench my fists and yell at Kisumi, "No! Why are you lying--"
He puts his soft hand on my lips. "Shh," He whispers to me. "Trust me, this'll work."
I say nothing, but eventually nod.
"Again, I'm sorry for running into you, Sousuke-kun." Kisumi bows to Sousuke, and grabs my hand to continue our walk.
With a slight smile on his face, Sousuke calls to me, "It was nice meeting you, young lady." He then walks to where his destination was.
"Actually," Kisumi stops and drags me the other direction, the direction where Sousuke was going. "Where are you going, Sousuke?" He asks the droopy teal eyed man.
"Meeting up with Rin at Samezuka Academy, wanna come? I bet he would enjoy more company." Sousuke replies and looks over his shoulder, seeing Kisumi and I holding hands. "You two sure seem like a nice couple." He smirks and looks to his front.
I ignore Sousuke, but I ask Kisumi, "What about Hayato? We may be at the academy for a while, so he'll probably be done once we get there."
Kisumi nods, but doesn't look at me. "I'll ask Makoto, his swimming teacher, to look after him while we're there. I'm sure he'll be alright." He smiles and holds my hand tighter.
My blushing intensifies.
We arrived at the Academy Sousuke was talking about. I smiled with excitement.
Sousuke had the keys to the swimming pool inside. Once we got to the entrance of the pool, he put the keys in the lock of the door, and turned the handle. The door eventually opened.
