Chapter 22

The evening sun shines lightly through my window as I see the golden beams shinning onto the floor. "Well that's all the time I have" I say and get to my feet as the three look over. "Games time" I say lightly as Shiro's eyes die down a little as he remembers he has a game tonight as well. "Stay safe loves" Kuina says to me and Shiro as he follows my actions and get up. "See you for drinks after" I say with a happy smile on my face hopping the confidence would help Shiro since seemed really down about the idea of the games.

I on the other hand was itching to get out and do something thrilling. I'm completely aware there's other ways of getting a thrill but sadly I'm not interested in those activities if you catch my drift. So I'm left with games as we can't exactly go around picking fights with people and if I get in another fight with a militant Aguni might actually kill me. I'm not prepared to die by his hands. Everyone would know Aguni beat me in a fight then and I can't have that happening. There is a chance I could beat Aguni in a fight but from what I've gathered I'd probably lose.

Pretty sure Aguni was also in a line of fighting before coming here and Niragi told me he was part of the Yakuza before and honestly I wouldn't doubt it. "Let's go then puppy" I say and swing an arm around Shiro's shoulder as I catch a slight smile on his face. At least we know how to cheer him up. "I'll see you later my sweet girls" I call back to Kuina and Mei as they start talking and settling back down in my room.

Me and Shiro head down to the main area and get to the middle of the crowd as Shiro starts listening to Hatter's speech. "I'll just be by the door having a nap through the speech of hell if you need me" I whisper to Shiro as I catch a small giggle from him before I weave through the crowd of people that stare up in awe at Hatter. I get to the side as I look around slightly and find Niragi leaning against a pillar like usual as I make my way over. He looks over at me and moves his gun from side to side as if he were waving but very very very lazily.

"Why hello there how are you" I say and turn before leaning on the pillar as he just watches me before signing obviously bored of Hatter's speeches just like I am. "I would kill myself but that blonde bitch wouldn't let me live it down" Niragi says as I look over a little confuse. "Run me through that one more time, how exactly would that work" I ask as he sighs and gives me a slightly annoyed look. "Ok not a good mood day, what can I do" I say and turn so I was leaning on my side to face Niragi better.

"I can sing a song, ramble on about how much of a bitch the other executives are, find some snacks and dine on crisps and coffee" I say as he now has a small smile on his lips as if considering something. "I know something that would make me feel better" he says as I grow suspicious of his odd tone. "Go sing a song to that arrogant bitch, I want to see his disgusted reaction" he says as I let out a chocked laugh trying not to gain attention from anyone around.

"Alright bet" I say as Niragi seems a little taken back by my willingness to accept this. "Seriously" he asks as I nod. "You've intrigued me with the concept now so there's no take backs" I say as Niragi still seems a little shocked but lets me continue. "How come you're down here then listening to this crap" Niragi asks as I turn back to lean on my back and look up at the balcony where Hatter stands with the top three executives at the beach. Also known to me as creepy smile, smarty pants and Ann.

Yes Ann gets a normal name as she seems relatively normal compared to the rest. "Going to a game" I say as he looks over still confused with my answers today. "Reason" he questions as I shrug. "I'm dying of boredom here" I say as he seems to grin again. "I don't think I'll ever understand you" Niragi says as I laugh a little. "Ditto" I say back before seeing the small numbered cards start to be handed around. "Well it seems to be time for me to head out" I say as Niragi reaches out quickly and lightly grabs my shoulder.
