As the elevator descends I move over to Tama and check over her leg as I pull at the shirt she had on and leaving her in the bikini top underneath. Once the shirt was in my possession I wrap it tightly around her leg hoping this would hold until we can get back to the beach. I can see sweat on her forehead dripping down her face as she bites her bottom lip in pain. "Hold on I swear you'll make it" I say giving her some form of hope. Even if she doesn't believe me I still have hope that she'll make it. We only have 5 minutes left. We can make it through 5 minutes.

The floors tick down and we get to the 1st floor since I didn't want to risk going to the ground floor and getting attacked the moment we leave the elevator. I grab Tama's arm and pull her up so her weight is on my side. "Just on hold we'll be fine" I say as I can tell she isn't hopeful about her future anymore. The elevator doors slide open as I keep us to the side out of sight for a moment before peering around the corner carefully.

After confirming that it was clear I slouch out holding Tama close to my side. She was rather light but the muscles she clearly had definitely added some weight which right now wasn't ideal. Once out in the open I slowly carry Tama over to a side corridor and let her slide down against the wall. "Try to rest as much as you can to conserve energy since I can't help you until we get back to the beach" I tell Tama as she nods with a pale face and sweat rolling down her forehead.

I'll do my best to get her out of this game but after this I can't guarantee her future. That will be up to her own will. "Keep an eye on the time for me and I'll focus on keeping you safe" I whisper to her as I keep my eyes on the variety of corridors in the lower floor. Unlike the top floor with a sight advantage, down here we have the ability to hide among the different items.

Abandoned shops are scattered down every corridor almost like a labyrinth yet it makes complete sense. It's easy to get turned around down here and that's exactly what I'm praying on for now. I run to a shop across from us and grab some clothing items before heading back to Tama that is still managing to stay awake and half alert.

"Give me your phone" I say as Tama seems to tighten her grip around the technology in her hand. "They can track us with them so if I take them both you can actually hide" I explain as I reach down to her arms and try to comfort her. "I doubt we can just leave them so I will run with them and bring it back by the end I promise you that" I say as she doesn't shift for a moment. She considers for a moment before agreeing knowing right now in her state she will slow us down. It's a fact that I can't fight if she's holding me down.

If I had the choice I would keep her by my side to protect her but in this game I doubt I can protect us both. The best chance we have is separating temporarily. I reach down to the phone in her hand and pocket it next to my phone. If they're tracking us it would be reasonable to assume that two stacked trackers would be hard to differentiate. They might even think that there's only one person here.

After sorting the phones out I place items around Tama to cover her from the seekers view. "Promise to survive" Tama says as I stand up. "Of course I have people to live for after all" I say with a smile in an attempt to make her feel confident. It's the best I can do for her now. As I turn away the smile quickly fades as I pick up my pace into a fast jog.

I get as far away from Tama as physically possibly while staying on this floor. I ignore the clock for now since it's pointless obsessing over the time left. I do what I can to try a defence system by grabbing suitcases and filling them to the brim with all the heaviest objects I could find. I start piling them up like a wall in an obscure location before placing the two phones down to try and trick the hunters into a trap.

After I've managed that I search around the area for any weapons to fight with. I go into a shop with technology that doesn't work but rip out a strong cable that I could use to strangle someone. I search for anything else and find a shop with some candles in it but more importantly with matches in it. I can bet the game makers took into account the amount of shops here.
