Ch.2 New Girl

Alex's POV

I can't help but watch as the rangers take down this monster, I slowly walk up to them just then the yellow ranger turns looking at me.

"You're still here, we told you to run!"

I look at the rangers before me wide eyed. 

"Who are you guys?"

The green ranger looks over at me he puts his fists on his hips and puffs his chest I see the girls shake their heads. 

"We're the next generation of power rangers."

" Next generation?"

The blue ranger looks over at me. 

" Our parents passed down their powers to us making us the new power rangers."

I nod slowly at what he said. The blue ranger looks over at me then back at his teammates, they quickly form a huddle.

"Can we trust her with our identity's?" 

Allyson looks over at Chris and shakes her head.

"We're not supposed to tell anyone remember."

Chris lets out a sigh and shrugs. 

"Well, she did witness everything."

The rangers break up the huddle the red ranger turns to me 

"Promise you won't say anything."

"You have my word I won't say anything."

The yellow ranger puts her hand on the red rangers shoulder stopping him

"You sure we can trust her?"

"I trust her."

The ranger's power down the red ranger takes step towards me. 

 "By the way I'm David."

The blue ranger brings up a hand giving me a small smile. 

"Chris"

The green ranger throws his head back he gives me a smirk. 

"William"

The pink ranger gives me a small wave. 

"Allyson"

The yellow ranger gives me a small nod. 

"Angela, alright you know who we are now, who are you?"

"My name is Alex, I'm currently on a mission to find my parents."

David furrows his brows confused.

"Mission?"

"Look my life is complicated alright all they left me was this flute that's it, maybe you guys could help me."

Angela opens her mouth to say something, but David puts his hand up cutting her off she gives him the look David puts his hand on my shoulder.  

"Hey why don't you come back to base with us."

We head back to their base my jaw drops when I enter, I've never seen such technology before I walk around amazed by everything. Allyson turns looking at David.

"Are you sure we can trust her?"

"Of course, I mean didn't you see her fight before we got there, she has training."

William leans over whispering to David.

"David what if we don't find her parents then what are we going to do?"

"She could be of us to us still we could probably see if there's a spare morpher for her."

Allyson glances back at Alex then back at the others. 

"First, we need to get to know her better, then we'll see."

The others nod in agreement David walks towards Alex scratching the back of his head.

"So, Alex uh where do you come from."

"The ancient temple"

The others look at each other as Angela looks over at me confused.

"Ancient temple?"

"That was my home until the headmasters wanted me to go find my parents, when I saw you guys, I knew I could use your help."

Chris looks at me and crosses his arms.

"Other than the flute did they leave anything else."
