Ch.5 The Unexpected

The next morning the rangers begin to search for Alex still no luck, but they won't stop searching meanwhile back in the cave Sarka waves her hand over a portal creating a new Barbaric she lets out an evil chuckle seeing her creation. 

" Shadowserpent arise"

A snakelike creature arises from the portal he lets out a long hiss Sarka smirks as she circles Shadowserpent 

" Perfect the rangers won't even know what's coming for them"

"Sarka"

" Yes Akar"

" The rangers have been spotted all over the city send Shadowserpent and have him destroy them"

" Yes my lord, Shadowserpent do not fail us"

" I won't let you down" 

Sarka opens a portal as Shadowserpent slithers through back at HQ the alarm goes off Tommy presses a button opening the map he knits his brows in confusement

" How is that possible? Rangers be on the look out a Barbaric has surfaced but it seems to be going one place to another very fast"

Angela looks at her communicator confused

" What do you mean Tommy?"

" Its jumping from different locations I'm not sure how"

" We'll be on the look out for this Barbaric, rangers meet back at the park"

" Be careful guys"

As the rangers begin to head back to the park they are all attacked by Shadowserpent one by one, Angela looks around

" Come on out and fight, show yourself!"

Shadowserpent emerges from the shadow striking Angela over and over then disappears back into the shadows Angela holds up her communicator

" Guys get to the forest fast the Barbaric is here"

Just then Chris' voice comes through the com

" You sure about that the Barbaric just attacked me at the lake"

William scoffs with what he hears

" No he's not he's downtown"

The rangers begin to argue where the Barbaric is Shadowserpent laughs hearing the rangers bicker between one another.

" Excellent the plan is in motion"

Shadowserpent disappears into the shadows waiting for the right time to strike the rangers yet again. 

Alex's POV

I wake up in a strange place I sit up and look around I look down at my arms and legs noticing they've been patched up just then a soft voice comes from behind me

" Oh you're up."

I jump and turn around seeing a young woman in a white dress looking at me concerned, I look at her furrowing my brows

" Where am I, who are you?"

" I'm Princess Shayla welcome to the Animarium"

" Animarium? How did I get here?"

"The ranger who saved you brought you here."

"Do you know who it was?"

Princess Shayla shakes her head.

"No, I don't they left before I could see them."

I look around slowly something about this place seems familiar to me but I'm not sure how I feel like I've been here before

"Why does this place seem so familiar to me?"

Just then I get a flashback I see the Animarium, I then see a man he's holding me, but his face is blurry he's talking to someone, but I can't see who I shake my head shaking the flashback away. I slowly get up from the bed and look around the interior was beautiful. Just then a lion's roar makes me jump I turn around my jaw drops it's not any ordinary lion it's a red lion perched on a rock looking down at the field below him. The red lion roars again I hurry into the forest I can't believe my eyes just then a yellow eagle flies overhead I watch in awe as it disappears behind the trees a shark jumps out of the water as a tiger and bison stand behind me letting out a growl/bellow.

" This is amazing but what are you."

The red lion jumps down in front of me letting out a soft growl

" Wild zords, whoa, whoa, whoa time out how is this possible?"

Red lion lets out another soft growl I slowly walk up to him nodding

"Yes, I hear you but how is this possible how am I understanding you"

red lion lets out another soft growl I nod

"I see um do you know my father?"

red lion roars I slowly nod and look down at the ground

"I just wish I knew where he is."

Just then a wolf howls I turn my eyes widen seeing the wolf I begin to walk towards him amazed.
