Of course, Liam's little rondevu got us kicked out of the restaurant. I had never seen any guy get so angry or punch anyone like that before. Liam had gotten so angry...it seemed like he just lost it. I wanted this to stop. I didn't want to carry on this relationship anymore. What would he do if he got that mad at me? The thought scared me more than Liam did himself. The car ride back to my flat was completely silent, not even the radio was on. When we pulled up to my house we just sat there for a moment before Liam got out of the car and opened my door for me.
"I'll walk you to your door."
When we got to my porch, he tried to give me a goodnight kiss, but I pushed against his chest. My weak force didn't move him an inch, but it gave him the message that I didn't want him around. The message I wanted to give, but was too frightened to say. Sadness came across Liam's face. "You're scared of me now...aren't you?" I tried to respond, but the words wouldn't come out. I couldn't get the scene of him fighting out of my head. "May I at least come in and explain myself?" I didn't say a word, I just lead him inside to where he took a seat on the couch as if the place were his. I put my bag down and waited for him to start his explanation.
"I'm waiting." I said, growing impatient.
"Oh, right. Sorry. Soo long story short he's the one who took my ex girlfriend from me. She chose him over me. I can't stand him."
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know. It's just, you were so powerful with your punches. I just wondered..."
"Wondered what?"
"Nothing. It's nothing. Just forget I even said that." Although I was afraid he already knew what I meant. I was afraid of what he had potential of doing to me if he ever got mad at me. "Tonight was great." I lied. "Thank you for taking me out." I said, getting up and walking him out. Once again we were back on my porch.
"I guess it was." He said, the energy gone from his voice. "I'll talk to you tomorrow." He said, pecking me on my cheek and walking towards his car.
"Get home safe."
"Don't worry about me." It was hard to tell if he was being serious or not, but lately he's been really serious..about everything. I watched him get in his car, and didn't go inside until the tail lights from his car disappeared into the darkness. He frightened me, but I didn't want him to leave. I felt protected when he was with me, I knew he would keep me safe. But with that temper of his....who knew what could happen.
