JAKE tumbled down the clustered forest hill
And landed in a huge bush.
Meanwhile
LIN and neytiri tried keeping
The children safe whilst
The practiced their archery.
They hadn't even noticed that jake was gone.
Until someone said something
"Lin, Neytiri wheres jake?" Lin looks up from her bow and arrow
and looks over to koi "what" she asks the young girl
"I thought he was with you?" Lin panicked Walking over to Koi'tsey and picking her up
"He was but...he just disappeared?" Neytiri's laugh filled the air, making lin look back to her
with a confused yet concerned expression "what?"
Neytiri nodded towards the hill and smirked
"lover boy fell down there I reckon"
the kids start to laugh and lin rolls her eyes
"look he may be an idiot and a baby but I don't think he's that stu-
"LIN? HELLO!" Lin slowly turns to neytiri then to koi "he's...he's fine"
Another yell was heard "okay I'll get him" Neytiri chuckled
telling the kids to focus
"can I come" Koi'tsey whispered
Fiddling with Lins hair as she sat on her hip
"yes, I need an extra pair of hands he's a big guy"
koi yelps wrapping her hands around Lins neck and nuzzling her face into the girls hair.
"alight, Net we'll be back" lin picks up her bow and tightly grabs onto koi
"LIN?" Jake yells walking around the forest
The echos hitting every inch of the greenery
The sounds of every forest creature filled his ears
His throat hitched as he felt the ground shake
As if something or someone was coming towards him
He slowly grabbed his bow from his back
And aimed it where the sound was coming from.
Lin clutched onto her bow
closely watching the creature
Look around in a scared matter
Koi tightly held onto Lin
Her head stuffed into the
Girls shoulder hiding her face
Lin leaped forward out from
the dark leaves holding her arrow
Against jakes throat.
"Jake!" She hisses lowering her bow
and putting it on the ground
"Lin!" He copied her actions
and walked over to her
wrapping his arms around her figure
Koi squeezed in between the pair.
Koi knew they both felt a liking towards each other, she could sense it.
"skxawng!" Lin smacked him on the back of the head
"How much of an idiot can you be to fall down a hill? And then get lost!?"
Jake looked down to his feet and shuffle then in the dirt
"such an idiot" Koi'tsey giggled looking up to Jake and pointing in his face
"your so stupid, dumber then me" Jake asks offended and brings his hand up
to his heart and gasps "koi! And I thought we were friends" koi frowns and looks over to Lin
"can we just go back? I want to do archery" Koi'tsey whines tugging on Lin necklace
"Sure koi" Lin sends a quick smile
To Jake who sends one back
Reaching out and pulling Lin into his chest
"I can't wait to show you my skills lin!
Jake sucks at teaching so I had to watch you" Koi'tsey smiles into Lins neck
"I can't wait to see them, my little cutie! And I know, Jake was a pain to teach"
Jake rolls his eyes and lets go of the girl
"it was hard to learn when you kept hitting me all the time" Lin scoffed
"well your a good archer so...who's a good teacher?"
"Oh your back!" Neytiri smiled walking over to her sister
and pulling her over to the kids "Felsàis was a pain in my ass"
Lin chuckles leaning closer to her sister "i know right!"
Neytiri chuckles Letting her braids fall over her face
"guys? I'm not like 100% good with kids so...a little help"
the siblings turn back to Jake who is getting jumped by the children
"Aeílas" Lin yells watching him pull on jakes tail making him yelp
"Felsàis! Off!" Neytiri laughs at the pair, they where like a married couple with a bunch of children.
"I will shoot you with my bow" Felsàis threatens Jake as he hold the bow up to his chest
"oh my-Fel!" Neytiri now gets involved and the siblings are both trying to calm the children down
"OW" Koi'tsey yells hissing at Utikát'ay
"put the bow down! Oh Eywa have mercy on me"
Lin shook her head snatching the bow off Felsàis
"no more archery for you ewan tutan" the young boy frowns and roll his eyes
"no fair" Lin scoffs and grabs his shoulders pulling him away from the group
"Felsàis you have to behave when we learn, do you understand?"
The boy avoided eye contact with the girl crossing his arms
ACROSS his chest "The lessons are boring"
Lin raises her eyebrows and squints her eyes
"you have to understand that you can't choose what you want to learn.
It's what you need to learn, okay? These are the basics you need to know
and then we can get to the more exiting stuff"
Felsàis' face lights up and he smiles nodding quickly,
pulling lin back to the group. To see Neytiri and Jake laughing with the kids.
Lin loves these moments, being with the kids and with her sister.
She feels like it's too good to be true.
She hasn't felt like this in a VERY long time.
And now she's happy.
But it won't last forever.
She knows that.
