LIN closed her eyes as the wind flushed her face

"Woah" Lin had took Jake out extra early in the morning just to show him the sunrise.
She wanted to share this moment with him. Her moment with him.
"It's beautiful isn't it" he hums in agreement not taking his eyes off of the girl
She feels him staring at her and turns to him, smacking the back of his head.
"Ftang nga!" His ears perked up as she giggled.
Her laugh sounded like an angle, it was so pure and beautiful.
"Stop what?" Lin rolled her eyes and nudged jakes shoulder
"staring, you creep" his face softened and he pulled her close to him,
his body heat transferring to her sending goosebumps down her arms
"i will never stop." She batted her eyelashes together,
pushing her lips into a thin line before scoffing
"Shut up" lin had rolled out of his grip and jumped up
"come on sully we've got some hunting to do!" She pushed him over before
running back to her Ikran, aella. Her hair brushing over her nose and she covered her face with her hands.
They chased after sturmbeest's.
Some riding Direhorses and some on Ikrans.
Lin, Neytiri and jake where on their ikrans.
Jake kept close to lin as this was a new thing to him.
"Come" the pair flew over the sturmbeest's, lin pulling her bow back and shooting one down.
Jakes eyes followed the creatures one by one, watching them run.
Lin observed how he chose which one he would KILL.
He draws and fires his bow. The arrow strikes true, in the plexus
between the armored shoulders, the beast crashes to the ground.
Skids to a stop in a clouds of dust.
Lin swoops in next to Jake, arms raised and grinning wolfishly.
"Hell yeah!" Jake held his bow up and waved it around
Lin copying his actions and Yelling "hell yeah!"
She didn't know what it meant but she didn't care.
He'd done it and she was proud.
The two Yipped and yapped as they flew threw the sky.
The smile hadn't left Lins face, she turned to look at jake who was admiring the view of Pandora.
A HUGE shadow begins to covers him and Lin shouts a warning.
Jake looks up to see a LEONOPTERYX in a delta-dive, whistling straight at him.
Like a banshee, only several times larger, it is the king predator of the air.
it is both gorgeous and terrifying.
Jake snap-rolls and dives toward the forest canopy.
He plummets into the gloom as the leonopteryx tears through foliage,
following him down, both diving like missiles
Jake yanks into a hair-pin bank, right through a gap between
two huge branches forcing the leonopteryx to brake with a loud FWOOSH of wings.
It banks away with a frustrated shriek. Two flaps of its mighty wings
and it is gone, back above the canopy.
As its fanged mouth opens in a bloodcurdling SCREECH
which echoes among the mountains.
The lord of its domain.
Lin flies up next to jake and rests on a tree.
Her eyes widened and her mouth wide open.
They both start to laugh and lin tilts her head back leaving a smile on jakes face.
The two start making their way back to the home tree.
Lin was still shaken up with amazement as for Jake.
She must tell Neytiri this amazing event.
Jake stares up at the totem skull, which we now recognize as
that of a great leonopteryx. Lin watches as he reaches
up to touch the tall indigo crest.
"My grandfather's grandfather was Toruk Macto Rider of Last Shadow."
She explained to him whilst admiring the skull herself
"He rode this?" Lin looked down to her feet and smiled
"Toruk chose him. It has only happened five times since the time of the First Songs."
Jakes ears twitched and his eyes widened "That's a long time."
He mutters looking down to her. Lin takes his hand, and squeezes it.
"Toruk Macto was mighty... he brought the clans together in a time of great sorrow.
All Na'vi people know this story."
