THE siblings ran threw the forest.
"Shhh" A few giggles erupted from Lins mouth as she ran across a large branch.
Her legs felt like they could go forever. "Slow down!" Neytiri groaned from behind her
Lin leaped over a gap between the tree and rolled over on the ground, Neytiri landing beside her.
"My sister are you okay?" The younger girl moves her hair out of her face and nods
She holds onto Neytiri's arm and begins to drag her around.

"How long are we going to hide here" Lin huffed, resting her head on Neytiri's shoulder
Her exited side started to fade and now she was just bored.
"Until Jake finds us" hide and seek. Who doesn't love it?
It may be a kids game but for these Four it's not!
"Well that's going to be years! He's as blind as a bat"

A loud roar comes from behind the two
making them jump out of their skin and slap the 'creature' in the face
"ow!" Lin opens her eyes to see Jake started at them, his hand covering his cheek
"you skxawng!" Neytiri sees Tsu'tey hiding, secretly spying on Jake and lin with a
grumpy face which leads her to run over to him leaving the two alone in the dark

"im not so blind am I?" Jake smirks putting a lose strand of hair behind her ear
"you are too" She squints her eyes, tilting her head back and laughing.
She notices Neytiri walking off with the Tsu'tey "wanna go somewhere?"
Jakes eyes widen and he nods instantly, her hand reaching out and pulling him with her.

Jake and Lin run silhouetted in the night. Behind them waterfalls cascade down in the silvery light.
Polyphemus rises behind the trees. Lin DIVES from a rock, slicing into a mirror of water.
Without question Jake follows her and underwater, they swim over glowing anemones.

They seem to float in a cosmic dance above a luminous garden of waving shapes.
Tiny purple fish swirl around them. Their hands come together, fingers twining, as they float
          weightlessly, as if between worlds.

They felt as if they where the only people on Pandora.
Just them, no one else.

They swim up for a breath, their faces so close that they could feel their noses touching.
"You okay?" Lin asks him whilst brushing her fingers over his chest "mm...it's beautiful here"
There they where, together in a glowing 'river'. Their legs tangled as they rested
amongst the crystal water. "It is...but I've got somewhere more beautiful"
Jake raises his eyebrows not believing it can get more beautiful then this.

Lin had a special place in mind, she felt it was time.
She needed this.

Laughing, they run together into a stand of WILLOWS.
Their trunks are as gnarled as bonsai. Long faintly glowing
tendrils hang straight down in pastel curtains.

It is an exquisitely beautiful spot.

The willows stir, responding to their presence.
She holds up her hands, letting the tendrils caress her.
"This is a place for prayers to be heard. And sometimes answered."
Lin whispers as she connects her Queue with the tree.

" We call this utraya mokri. the Tree of Voices.
The voices of our ancestors" Jake puts out his hands
and the tendrils play over his fingers, his palms, his forearms.
He connects his own Queue with the tree and His eyes go wide.
He can hear the WHISPERING of ancient Na'vi voices.

"I can hear them" Lins tail slides up and down her leg and she slowly walks next to Jake.
Placing her hand next to his queue and smiling "they live Jake...within Eywa"
A few Woodsprites circle around them, some alighting on their
          shoulders and arms.

They stand, very close together now. Her eyes are intense, almost luminous.
He feels drawn into them. But she pulls back a little.

"You are Omaticaya now. You may make your own bow from the wood of Hometree."
Her gaze drifts off and she looks up above them "And you may choose a woman."
Jake suppresses a smile, Tilting his head to the side watching Lin hold a woodspirit.

"We have many fine women." She smiles softly to herself
"Ninat is the best singer..."

He was silent, admiring her beautiful before he spoke "But I don't want Ninat."
Jakes sudden words sparked a brighter smile to her face. Her flushed cheeks and
her widened eyes stare at her hands as she blows the woodspirit away.

"There is Beyral she is a good hunter" She feels Jake walk up behind her
"Yeah she is a good hunter" Lin turns to Jake a confused look on her face.

"I've already chosen. But this woman must also choose me."
Her eyes trail down from his eyes to his lips
Tilting her head to the side with a smile.
She takes his hands and their fingers intertwine.

"She already has." He puts his face close to hers.
Bringing his palm up to her face, rubbing his thumb against her cheek.
She gently closes the space between them, a feeling she's never felt before
explodes all through out her body. She eyes close and she deepens the kiss by pulling
him by his neck, pulling him closer to her. Then they pull back, eyes sparking.

She pulls him down until they are kneeling, facing each other
          on the faintly glowing moss.

Lin takes the end of her queue and raises it. Jake does the same, with trembling anticipation.
The tendrils at the ends move with a life of their own, straining to be joined.
Lin doesn't hesitate and neither does Jake as they both move their queues closer together.
Until they are connected.

JAKE rocks with the direct contact between his nervous system and hers.
The ultimate intimacy. He can feel every emotion through out her.
And she can feel his. His desperation for her touch.

They come together into a kiss and sink down on the bed of moss,
and ripples of light spread out around them. He raises her again, lifting her on his lap
pulling her legs around his waist as their tails clash together.
He begins to trail kisses down her neck until he reaches her chest.
She gives his an approving smile before rolling over.

Lin is collapsed across jakes chest. He strokes her hair and
she sighs loudly digging her face in her neck.

"Lin, you know my real body is far away, sleeping."
She raises up, placing her fingertips to his chest and shaking her head softly
"This body is real. My love. This spirit is real."
Her eyes are luminous, honest, infinitely deep.
Her tail wraps around her thigh and she smiles.

"When I was first your teacher, I hated all Sky People.
But you have also taught me. Spirit is all that matters."
Jake nods, caressing her cheek with his thumb.
"Koi also knows that, she knew I hated sky people"
She lays her head down, against his chest again
listening to his heartbeat and the way, when he breathes
his chest moves up and down calmed her.

"I am with you now, Jake. We are mated for life."
Lin muttered quietly, feeling her eyes grow heavy.
"We are?" She moves her head more comfortably
"Yes. It is our way." Jake rouses up, making her look at him.

"Really, we are?" He asks for a second time making her giggle
"Yes we are" she watches him close his eyes and hum pulling her back down
To his chest "okay, okay..." He lays his head down, and her arms tighten around him
and she turns them both around. And before you know it they where both in a peaceful sleep.
A deep peaceful sleep in each others arms.

What an eventful night...Lin and Jake mated for life.
