"INVU - taeyeon"

She had made it.

Her dreams had all finally unfolded in front of her, becoming her reality. And she couldn't be more grateful.

She trained for six months after she left Korea, then she made her debut as the first female solo artist under DB Entertainment.

She released her single, "INVU" and it was instantly a hit. Trending globally, it didn't take long for her to become successful in the music industry.

She had been writing the song since before she got scouted. The meaning of the song mostly being about her and Jungkook.

The lyrics she wrote herself, being loved by millions. Lyrics she had written from her heart.

In the past four years, she released a single, two mini albums, and one full length album. Each one was a major hit on its own, the company being an amazing promoter on top of it.

She was famous. She had the career she had been training herself for, for so many years.

She was living her lavish life in New York City. Living in a 6.8 million dollar penthouse with a beautiful view of the city.

She had offered for Hana to come and live with her in NYC, but she declined because of Taehyung. Which was understandable in her eyes, they were madly in love.

She loved to see it. She really wanted a love like theirs. The way they were so effortlessly made for each other, it was a love so beautiful.

Her dog, Vanilla, was alive and well living with her as well. She missed her sister back in Korea, but would fly her out every now and then.

Taehee had always had a slim body. With her new lifestyle, her figure thickened up just a bit. It looked good on her.

Her signature long black hair was now down to her butt, a pale platinum blonde fading into a dark black at the tips.

She had always went in between blacks and browns, so her going blonde was a very big deal to her. She felt almost as if she was reborn.

As rich as her parents were, Taehee would often send gifts abroad to Shanghai just to make their day.

But she wasn't the only one who had reached this level of success.

Jeon Jungkook was a huge name globally. He had been a member of a Korean boy group under the name of BTS. The group had expanded outside of Korea, growing in global popularity.

Taehee knew very well about his success, considering she kept in contact with Seokjin and sometimes with Hoseok and Yoongi.

Seokjin would often send group pictures of them and send it to her.

Taehee would always catch herself zooming into Jungkook in these photos. She'd sometimes even watch their interviews as soon as they came out.

How Jungkook had grown. He looked a lot different now. He had tattoos, piercings. And he looked good.

He had broken her heart, yes. But it can't hurt to reflect on the past just a little bit. Especially when such good songs were made from it.

Jungkook listened to all of her songs. You could even say he was a fan.

He openly released a cover of her song, "Love Me Out Loud"

Fans ate it up instantly, begging for some sort of collaboration between the two. There was no public response to anything though.

Jungkook got the therapy he needed. The clarity he needed. He forgave his father in his heart for what he did to their family many years ago.

He wanted to be a better person. Sleeping around and drinking wasn't going to solve anything.

The tattoos and piercings helped Jungkook feel more comfortable in his own skin. He felt like himself.

He had a one on one conversation with his brother and band mate Taehyung, apologizing him for shutting him out in the past.

He was truly a changed man. He had healed from his past. Gained sucesss. But something was still missing.

Taehee.

Looking back on it, he was an idiot. He was definitely a "criminal" as she had previously called him before.

He lost the love of his life. All because he denied his own feelings and was too broken to really understand her or himself.

There was so much that needed to be said. So much he held back.

Him keeping his mouth shut ruined their relationship. Because he couldn't express his true feelings for her, it cost him everything.

Shortly after Taehee left Korea. He had realized he had fallen in love with her. Well technically he knew from the beginning, but kept denying himself.

He cried. A lot when she left. He thought he could be strong. He believed this feeling of sadness would go away in a few days. But it never did.

He was more in love with her than he thought. He couldn't escape her. Little things in his life would serve as a reminder of her.

When he got scouted on the street by BigHit Entertainment, he thought the feelings for her would go away. He thought his career would be a distraction and he would just forget about her.

It didn't help when her face was on every billboard in the city.

He was better now, slightly matured and he wanted to make things right between them. Even if four years had passed.

Wherever the boys went on tour, Taehyung's fiancée Hana would go with them. The two were inseparable, devoted to one another.

Hana was still well in contact Taehee. The girls would always call on the phone together almost every other night.

When the boys were out of the country, the girls would always meet up somewhere in the US. It would pain Jungkook when they were on tour.

So close by but, it's not his time yet.

He wanted to ask Hana for her number, but he felt like that would be too shallow.

He shattered her heart into millions of pieces. A lousy text message wouldn't solve anything. A phone call would just be rejected immediately.

What he didn't know was, he'd be seeing Taehee very soon.
