Author's POV
"heaven - taemin"
The day she had been dreading was finally here. How could it have come so soon?
Jungkook's last full day in New York.
Don't get her wrong, she had a genuinely good day. She was being spoiled by one of the most well desired men in the entire world.
The man had taken her out to dinner, treating her to the best meal NYC had to offer.
The two discussed their future for a bit, mostly what Jungkook's was planning to do after he left.
Jungkook did his best to contain himself while they ate. The dress hugged her body so tightly. How could he not look?
Overall, they had an amazing time out together.
Jungkook and Taehee were now back at her place. They had entered her bedroom together, him carrying her the entire way in.
He set her down onto her feet. The girl clung onto him still, hugging him as she tried to contain her emotions.
Jungkook noticed her shakiness, tilting up her chin up to face her.
"Don't cry my love, why're you so upset?" He took her closer in his embrace, rubbing her shoulders.
"I-I'm not crying." Taehee choked up, tilting her face away from him. Hot tears escaped her eyes, rolling quickly down her cheeks.
"My poor baby." He pouted, kissing her forehead. "I'll be back before you know it. You don't have to be upset."
Her emotions were getting the best of her. She was distraught. She barely got him back, and now she was losing him again.
They could talk on the phone and text, but it wasn't the same. They both had high demanding jobs, the long distance crushed her. Not to mention the time zones.
You would've assumed she was a military wife with how sad she was. Acting like she'd never see the guy again.
She had rehearsed multiple times. How she'd talk to him without crying in front of him. The practice was useless now.
She begged for this long distance thing to work out with the two. There were so many things that could go wrong.
Boredom.
Miscommunication.
No contact at all.
Taehee was someone that needed reassurance every now and then. One of her main love languages was physical touch, so with him miles away, that might be difficult for her.
"We'll talk every single day. I'll call you when you wake up and when you go to sleep. It's going to work." He reassured her, making her cry even more.
"I'm trying not to cry anymore" She sniffed. "I didn't think I'd be so emotional. I'm sorry-"
