"really really — winner"
"Jin, why're you calling me so early?" Taehee rubbed her eyes, finally picking up her cellphone.
Seokjin had been ringing her line ever since the clock stroke 12 in NYC. He had called her 12 times in attempt to be the first one to tell her happy birthday.
Poor girl was so exhausted from the long day before, she slept through every call.
"You're 24 now!" He cheered from the other side of the phone. "Instead of sleeping, you should be up and celebrating like the rest of the world. It's Taehee Day!"
"Can't Taehee Day be tomorrow? I'm beat." She crawled out of bed, taking a look out the window.
Choi Taehee's birthday.
Considering she was living in New York, in a penthouse with a very exciting view of the city she could see her face everywhere.
Street signs, billboards, cafes themes, balloons. Almost anything you could think of.
She was trending everywhere. At exactly 12am she dropped the music video for "Birthday". Her new single's cover on every screen in New York.
The song was on everyone's playlist. It was trending on Youtube and Twitter.
It was heavily promoted by her company, so it was seen on every platform.
"Woah." She gasped, her vision adjusting. "My face is everywhere! I-I mean I've seen this only a few times but not as much as these last years."
"I wouldn't doubt some of it was Jungkook's doing. He's always doing the most." He yawned. "He's asleep too. I got to tell his girlfriend before him! I'll never let him live that one down."
"Leave him alone. He's just tired." She defended him.
"Tired of what? Staying with me even though he has a whole home? Eating my food? Using my washing machine? My shower? Shit I feel like I own a hotel."
"You know you love him. If you had no one to take care of you'd feel so lonely." She replied. "He needs you as much as you need him."
"Yeah whatever. For the sake of national Taehee Day, I'll restrain myself from making fun of Jungkook. For now. Eat well today, okay? Take pictures of everything."
The two said their goodbyes and they hung up the phone.
Taehee felt so refreshed.
