"So were you serious about dinner?" Taehee questioned as Jungkook had his eyes on the road. "Or did you just ask out of jealousy."
After how hard she worked, he was going to treat her anyways. It was just a plus that he already claimed her time earlier.
He smirked. "Both. Let's get you washed up at your house then we can go." He turned down her street corner.
"Let's go somewhere casual. I want street food." She rubbed her stomach.
"If that's what my princess wants." He smiled, pulling up to her home.
Such a charmer.
He turned the car off, getting out and opening Taehee's door for her. She thanked him and the two strolled into her home.
"Stay here, I'll go take a quick shower." She instructed before running up the stairs.

"Okay I'm all ready. Jungkook, look at my dress I bought. Isn't it pretty? I've been waiting to wear it for so long." She smiled as she came down to the living room.
"Oh it's very pretty." He cleared his throat. He didn't even look at her.
"What's wrong?" She tilted her head.
Jungkook's expression looked dull, like all the excitement from earlier was drained from his body.
"Can't do dinner tonight. My friend needs me." He grabbed his coat off of the hanger in the hallway closet.
"Oh-" She looked down.
Not that she was wearing the dress, just for him. It stung, but it was out of her control.
"Yeah sorry. Maybe another time." He pat her shoulder, "I'll see you another time."
He didn't seem very sorry. He looked as if he had been waiting to leave her.
She nodded, not really wanting to say anything to him. He closed the door behind him, and left.
She knew she shouldn't have got her hopes up. The last few times they hung out, he didn't take any phone calls or mysteriously have to leave.
But why did this time bug her more than before?
