Winter was shocked by the power Blood had shown and now Darkstalker was nothing but a small half rainwing half nightwing dragonet. Foeslayer looked around and asked Blood "What is going on?" Blood replied "Oh your son, Darkstalker, was trying to genocide all of the Icewings so I turned him into a small dragon and brought you here to let you be free and raise him." Winter was shocked by Blood's response, how could he let Darkstalker go free, he was about to protest but he was grabbed by Qibli who said "Winter this could be a good thing, it means that Blood doesn't solve his problems with murder, which means he is more trustworthy than Darkstalker, at least." Winter decided that it was probably just Qibli trying to stop him from approaching the dragon who made Darkstalker look like a toy. Blood was holding up his talons as he teleported both Darkstalker and Foeslayer away. Winter was suddenly startled as Blood appeared right in front of him, he full expected for Blood to do something dangerous but Blood simply held out his talon and said "It is a pleasure to meet you face to face Winter, you don't need to be afraid, my powers take a lot to control." Winter grabbed Blood's talon and shoke. Winter let go after a few seconds and looked over at Moon who had a saddened expression on her face, she had clearly seen something sad in Blood's mind earlier. Blood then looked at Winter and said "You are quite the icewing." Winter looked at him confused and said "Ok, well you're a weird little dragonet." Blood smiled and said "Oh yeah I should tell you what I am, I am a Bloodwing, or well I guess now a Bloodwing and Icewing hybrid." Winter was confused and about to ask what he meant when Qibli beat him to the question and said "What do you mean now you're a icewing and Bloodwing hybrid?" Blood looked over to Qibli and said "Well I could only regenerate half my body and I used Winter's blood to form the other half of my body, which would explain my icewing resemblance." Winter was shocked by this as suddenly Qibli then said with a small laugh "So that means you are related to Prince Snowy?" Winter scowled at Qibli but was shocked when Blood replied "Yeah I guess." Winter looked at Blood and said "Well, ignoring everything that just happened I have a question, should we be worried about any other Bloodwings coming and being evil?" Blood breathed in deep and said "Yeah, most likely." Winter was shocked by him being this deadpan about this. Turtle stepped forward and stuttered "Um... T-Their not all as s-strong as you, r-right?" Blood looked at Turtle with a reassuring smile as he said "No, I am the strongest, that is the reason they trapped me in the book." Winter looked at Blood and said "Can you tell us the whole story?" Blood said "yeah, so I was half a year old when my mother and father, the king and queen, used six animus dragons to trap me in the book because the geared my powers." Everyone looked at Blood in horror as Kinkajou was the first to speak up and said "You were trapped in that book since you were half a year old! That is cruel!" Blood simply shrugged and said "They were never good parents and I honestly am glad I didn't have to live there even if it ment I lost 4 years of my life." Qibli walked up to Blood and Winter joined him as they all began to talk about their terrible families and Blood seemed to have at least one good family member, his sister, Wound.
